I got my hair done Sunday. It's Tuesday and 8 braids have already fallen out. A horrible experience. Horrible customer service and too much money for my hair to fall out two days later. There where two children running around the shop all day, some random people kept walking in off the street. One man walked in carrying a golf club and shouting at the horse races on the tv. The woman braiding my hair kept stopping to work on other people. I was there for 9 hours on something that should have taken 6. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This was the most painful braiding experience I've ever had. I will be returning to the shop in the morning with a police escort for a refund. I wish I could rate it as zero stars.

i am a very friendly and mellow person, so this came as a shock to me. i am also white. today i wanted a small section of my hair braided and even though the stylists at Good Luck had no clients in the shop at this time, as they had just opened less than an hour ago, i was instantly denied service, after being looked up and down a few times. "nobody is able to help you today." "oh. pretty busy?" "mhm." followed by being ignored. this makes me very sad. supporting local, small businesses is important to me, and something i try to seek out for my wants and needs. this salon appeared very skilled and reasonably priced from the research i had seen online. i was not expecting to be judged in this way as i had no judgment myself. coming from new england i am so fortunate to be surrounded with such a great level of acceptance in the community. i understand the severity of rascism and how it affects targeted ethnic groups, im sorry people can suck and be so low as to hate other races. but i don't suck. at all. Good Luck African Hair Braiding, so uncool you guys. this is the only place in town that markets for braiding, being new to the area, and every other salon only marketing cuts and colors, i wasnt sure if anywhere else was skilled enough to do what i wanted. these guys had incredible skills, much respect to that. so i chose them. In today's age, it's totally unacceptable for a business to have such an attitude. How would our current economy survive if we were all just as racist? it wouldnt. i feel that any business should be proud to have diversity interested in their service.
