They did a good job of a full manicure and pedicure for me although she didn't understand that I wanted just a buff and polish on my fingernails, she gave them a clear coat instead (maybe they don't do the buff and polish alone?).
Turned out fine anyway, although was the first time I had ever had a coat of anything, clear or not, on my nails.
Fast friendly service.
Went in for a gel pedicure recently. Asked for the basic and was charged $60. They tried to upcharge me another $10 to do my heels which should have been included. The next day, I noticed the skin on my heels was cracked and dry. Polish came out good, so no complaints with that, but I expect a decent job overall for what they charge. Coincidentally, came down with Covid two days later.
**update** 10/19 I got my full set removed that was done on 10/15 because they hurt and they offered me a refund for my previous service in the form of a gift card that I could use for a future service. so on 10/22 I decided to give them another chance and get a gel pedicure. The lady I had was very gentle and took good care of my feet. She took her time to make sure everything looked good. I would be back to see her for pedicures, because the massage was great and she was nice. My previous review was for an acrylic set and I don't think I will be doing acrylic anytime soon so I can't say much about an update on that. But the pedicure was nice and massage was good! Go see Sue for pedicures.
10/15 My nail tech was on her phone and gave me a cut with the drill and chemical burn with the primer and acrylic application. She got acrylic and liquid all over my finger and when I told her it hurts she brushed it off and just went to a new nail. I had to tell her to stop and let me wash my hands. I could see the blanching on my skin because of the chemicals that got on my skin and it hurt and burned. I never got that in my usual nail salon. When I showed her she tried to rub it which hurt like hell and then she said "you should have gotten the gelX". I had to wash my hands 4 times and it still hurt, then It took 30min after leaving the place to have the blanching in the tips of my finger to slowly go away. This was my first time ever getting a reaction while getting my nails done. Then the next day my finger was peeling and chapped underneath
I do not have the words to say how amazed and grateful I am to Sue at the Golden Nail Lounge!! She saw my inspiration pic and then did it better! She was fast, and gentle. She never once hurt me or hurried the process. I am so thankful for her expertise and the professionalism of the salon itself. I will come here for ALL of my nail needs from now on
