Glaze Hair Studio in Henrico, VA

This is a great salon tucked away in the West End of Henrico. The stylists are friendly and efficient offering numerous services. The salon is nicely decorated and spacious. There's plenty of parking and is nearby to shops and restaurants.

I had an emergency (unexpected death) in my family and had been unable to schedule an appointment-my hair was in horrible shape and it just made everything that much worse. I called Glaze in desperation, only to discover that my stylist no longer worked there, and I fell apart again.. It wasn't that I couldn't attend my mom's funeral with my hair looking awful-it was just one of those little things that helped an awful situation seem a little less painful. I completely understood and was ready to accept the fact that it wasn't going to work out when Tony said (without any hesitation at all!) that he would find a way to help me! I honestly couldn't believe it when he said he'd call me back to let me know what he could arrange..Less than thirty minutes later, I received a phone call back from Tony advising me that (amazing) Kimberly would come In EARLY to fix my hair! I was so surprised and thankful that I was almost rendered speechless. This salon owner (and his staff) care so much about their clients that it's completely heartwarming and so rare these days. Kimberly did a beautiful job and additionally, she was so kind and caring throughout the appointment. Even though we just met, I felt like she really understood how devastated I was and was so thoughtful and sympathetic. I have always loved Glaze (and recommended them to all my friends), but today's experience was Second to None.. It's situations like these that stand out in the awful times we all endure, and make things easier to bear. Thank you Tony, Kimberly and Glaze staff. I'll always remember your kindness.. Jeri

I had a great cut here!! They are so kind and very talented! All the staff were really friendly and they even do men's cuts!

I love that the old owner Tony is back! He is absolutely wonderful and was so accommodating fitting me in at the last minute . Everyone there is so friendly and does fantastic work. My color was the best it has been in a long time and Denice was the best. Highly recommended.

Glaze is the best hair studio ever and Kristina is awesome!!! Anytime someone asks where they should get their hair done I tell them to go see Kristina at Glaze! : ) I highly recommend her!!! She has cut, colored, highlighted and styled my hair. The quality of her cuts and color are excellent and last a longer than most. I have never had a bad experience at Glaze...I've been going there since they opened and will continue going there as long as their doors are open.
