Glamour Nails & Spa in Monroe, WA

I went in for a pedicure, and if you are looking for a quick, utility pedicure, this is suitable and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly; perhaps a bit too friendly! If you want a truly relaxing and thorough pedicure, keep looking!

Michael was awesome today. He put a spin on my ideas for Christmas nails. They are quick but efficient. Pedicures are relaxing and they don't up charge you for extras. Their pedicures are one price with all the same benefits that other salons try to get you to buy. The sisters are a hoot and usually have everyone in the salon laughing. I highly recommend glamour nails :)

Im somewhat new to the area and have been trying out different nail salons in Monroe. I went there four days ago to get a shellac mani/pedi. I called and made an appointment and when I got there, I waited 30 minutes before they put water in for my feet (they didn't even put the salts in, just water). The techs were very nice (but talkative), 3 hours later I finally finished with my mani/pedi. When I finished I noticed nail polish had been globbed on unevenly and was worried it would chip in no time. But I live in Gold Bar, and traffic was building, so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. In two days half of the nails were chipped/peeling off. So today (four days later) I went in to ask them to repair the failing nails. (Un)Fortunately the owner was in! However he proceeded to provide the rudest experience of my life, when I explained the situation he said it's been over a week, when I explained it was only four days he said "well you work with your hands they won't last." When I told him that I don't work with my hands he said "You wipe your ass?! You can leave now!"

Thought I would tr glamour nails on Monroe again. Used to go there religiously every 2 week until I had a bad experience with old nail polish color. It was a really fabulous color that was going to match the dress I had to wear perfectly. But the nail color was bad because it was too old. It wasn't sticking well. It made them tacky and they didn't stay smooth for the wedding. I had chips smudging and peeling the next day. I went back to the shop and showed them the nails and they gave me a whole bunch of attitude about it. Well I tried it again today and I picked a wonderful little color here but it looks really clumpy. Almost looks like that stuff you buy for your little girl that is peel off polish. After three coats of color. It's still doesn't look even. And the ladies in the shop just wanted to give me a hard time and a bunch of attitude and yell at me. So I yelled back at her to not yell at me. She starts explaining herself to the other customer that's in the room. So I explained my self in the room. And I said I don't understand why you have a problem fixing something that is a bad color. She said that's fine. We see you in another 5 years and we do it again. I will never give them another chance ever again.

I have to start off with "at least it was only $50" because I guess you get what you pay for. They were cold to start off, I wanted a relaxing morning away from kiddos but instead I was anxious the whole way through. They are rough with your feet, quick and the quality of the gel does not last. I got gel on my toes and finger and within 48 hours they were popping off in the shower. I don't understand how when I don't wear closed toed shoes. Such a bummer because they're the closest to our home.
