Let me preface this review by stating that I have never been a client of Ms. Salinas. I am, however, leaving this review based upon an interaction that I had with her while she performed her role as a realtor. On 3/15/2019 at around 5:30pm I answered the door of my home to find Ms. Salinas standing there with a large group of people. She informed me that she was a realtor and was there to show my home to the group of people standing behind her. I told her that my home was not for sale and that she had the wrong address. She then stated that "they" did tell her that there were tenants, but that we should be expecting her that evening to show the house. I told her again that my home was not for sale. She then replied that my home was sold in a trust the day before, and then remarked loudly, that my family and I were more than likely going to be kicked out. Not only was that extremely unprofessional, but it was also highly insensitive. When I turned and saw my daughter standing there with tears in her eyes, her callous remark pissed me off! Rather than match her level of callousness I told her that we did indeed rent the home, but that we knew the owners very well, and they would never just sell the house without giving us a heads up. She then pulled out her phone and started showing me pictures of the listing on Zillow. I told her that although the house in the listing looked like our home, and the address matched, it was in fact, not our home. I tried to explain to her that all the homes in our neighborhood were tract houses, so most of them look alike. I also pointed out that the pictures of the rooms in the house did not match the rooms in my home. She still insisted that it was my home shown in the Zillow listing and that the owners just did not tell us that the house was sold. I told her that I needed to figure out what was going on, but regardless of whatever was going on, she and her group were not coming inside my home. Anyway, 30 minutes later we discovered that whomever had posted the listing had transposed a number in the address and the home that was actually for sale was located up the street. The owner of my house called her and the person who posted the listing to demand that they correct it, which they did the next day. It's unfortunate that Ms. Salinas was not professional enough to return and apologize to me and my family. If she had, I would not have felt the need to write this review.
