DrGG was very good. She did acupuncture on me and got every little pain. She does it deeper than normal acupuncture I ever had

Very unprofessional and unsafe. Me and my husband went for pedicure, we were taken back and there were no chairs for pedicure. We were told to lay down and I noticed that they brought two big plastic containers with cold water. One of the employee started messing my neck and my forehead without explaining or without my permission. I was wearing long earrings and necklace and I could have taken off,also I wearing eye glasses.The way my eyes glasses were taken off I was shocked.

Thank you GG. You took care of me and my husband with acupuncture treatment. This was a great experience. I am looking forward to heading back up to see you in August. Looking forward to my 14 day detox for my digestive system. See you soon. Highly recommend. I was in town just overnight and needed a pedicure while staying at the hotel just across the street, so I went in here and had the most odd experience ever... the 'pedicure' took place in an easy chair that collapsed all the way down so I was laying down while my feet were placed in a bucket lined with a plastic bag and full of warm water while another person came in and massaged my neck and arms. The woman told me the massage was 'free' as part of the 'pedicure', which turned out to be about a 1 minute soak in the bucket, a nail trim and a nail polish job my 6yo could've done better. The whole of attention to my feet lasted about 5 minutes and then the massage moved to my legs and the person doing the 'pedicure' left - never to be seen again. The massage was honestly pretty good and lasted about 30 minutes when I was then told I was done. The polish on both of my big toes was lumpy and I ended up removing it and redoing it myself that night (thankfully I'd brought my own color so I could do that). In the capper to the entire experience, when I went up to pay, the guy told me it was $70?!?! What in they actual...!?! Worst mail experience ever. Hopefully this review can save someone else from making the same mistake.

I was so HESITANT to visit this salon due to the lack of reviews on Yelp. I even stopped in and then said I'd check back because I was unsure. Today, I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue and was able to get in within the hour. I will honestly say this was the best deep tissue massage I've ever had - I've had many over my almost 60 years. The massage was indeed deep tissue so be careful what you ask for! I thought for a minute I might have to ask him to go lighter but I made it through Scalp massage was like having a fabulous, deep conditioning shampoo but with no water - felt great. Some stretching involved which I also needed since I have a desk job. No conversation, which is preferable to me In town for business and staying at the Monterey Marriott which I also highly recommend . The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, is very clean and had outstanding service. I plan lots of meetings and would add this to my list. I did notify the hotel about my experience at GGs so they are able to share feedback with other guests. Lastly, the price of the massage blew my mind. Not sure if it was a special but they charged $120 for the 90 minute deep tissue I left the guy a $40 tip since the price was cheap and they exceeded my expectations. Anyway, see for yourself - I'm doing my part to add a shout out on Yelp to help those folks that depend on lots of ratings like I do. ENJOY!
