Sandy did a wonderful and speedy job on cutting an inch off, and styling, my long curly hair! I've never been so happy with how my hair turned out and she was so easy-going!
Just had my hair cut by Rich. The poor guy was faced with having to "fix" the worst haircut I've ever had! I recently had a horrendous hair "butchering" from another hairdresser (another place altogether. ..see my review if you'd like a warning) and he not only faced what seemed to be an impossible challenge, but I actually love my hair now! Seriously, it did seem to be an impossible task to try to fix what had been done to my hair. He's obviously very experienced and I will definitely be back again, as my hair grows. Everyone there is very nice; a cozy place on Esplanade next to Nash's. He and his wife Jen own the salon. I had a great experience.
I do not recommend this hair salon. The owners work as a team and are inconsistent and cannot keep confidences. The female owner often seems distracted (ADD) and each time my hair color would be different. Go elsewhere.
Love love LOVE this place! Wonderful staff that really cares about their clients. The "homey" feeling makes you feel more relaxed the moment you walk in. I followed my stylist (whom I've been seeing for 5-6 years now) to Genesis and I'll never stray (thank you, Sandy!)
Sadly, I just wasn't that happy with my second cut. I'm going to look around....
