Pretty refreshing frozen yogurt. I love how there's so many flavors to pick from unlike Berry Tree. My favorites are banana, kiwi, watermelon and the original tart with fruit on top. Once in awhile I'll put candy on top but I like to keep it healthy. I like frozen yogurt places that are self served !!!!! Coming here this summer for some sweet treats!

There was a need for a self-serve fro-yo place out here, so I was pumped to see this place open. Lots of flavor options, and I was immediately greeted by an employee asking if I want to sample anything. I wasn't blown away by the actual fro-yo. The butter pecan was good...and I had vanilla, cookies n cream, and salted caramel...the salted caramel was just ok, but the rest of the flavors were decent - the highlight of this place is the topping selection. TONS of toppings - more than most of the fro-yo joints I've hit up recently. And they were running a fall special, so it was, I think, only $.39/oz. I ended up spending only $2 and getting myself an adequate cup of treats.

Fro-yo, made my way and I couldn't be happier!! Since I've been back on the South Shore this summer, I have been craving the DIY fro-yo joint 16 Handles from NYC. Finally, my dreams have been answered and Sweet Kiwi appeared about 10 minutes from my house! 10 fun yogurt flavors, and a toppings bar stocked with 50+ candies, fruits, syrups and whipped cream. I tried Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry and Pomegranate Yogurt smothered in hot fudge, Cheesecake and Brownie Bits and some Passion Fruit Boba Balls. The staff was very friendly, and the owner (?) will let you sample any of the flavors before you load it into your cup. Yeah, it's a little pricey, but to truly customize a delicious fro-yo to your liking is totally worth it in my eyes..especially during this scorching summer! My only critique is that I wish they had a few more different types of flavors, like Cake Batter or maybe a Sorbet. They have a punch card when you buy 10, you get one free. I will be back, and I'm SO happy to have one of my favorite treats close-by!

This place has been open for a couple of months now, maybe longer. I was excited to see some froyo in the area as I used to get it when visiting a friend out of state but it was never around here-- Baskin Robbins doesn't count. I finally got the chance to try it today and I have to say it met my expectations! I expect there to be no weird fake tasting sweeteners, lots of flavors, fun toppings and a cute atmosphere. I also was excited to see self serve machines and a self serve topping area. You know, these places are not cheap, here it's 53 cents an ounce. But I think the whole experience is what makes these places fun to visit. I like having a little creative freedom and I like being able to try different flavors and toppings. The guy behind the counter was friendly and I heard him offer samples to some older ladies. I went to another froyo place at the Natick Mall a few weeks ago and it was not nearly as good as Sweet Kiwi!
