Went here after going to another place that did a terrible job on my UV gel nails. Lisa saw what was needed right away and did a beautiful job! She fixed what was badly done at the other place and shaped my nails to look natural and beautiful just in time for the holiday! Will for sure come back!
I left a review the first time I came here 5 years ago. I still think the place is clean, the workers are really nice, and all do a good job. My most recent experience, however, has left me with a bad taste in my mouth: As the owner was checking me out, he seemed more persistent than usual when requesting cash rather than credit ( for services. I always tip in cash). Even after I agreed to the surcharge, he asked me if I was sure I had to use credit. Gel Factory has a 'bonus point' system. I usually go there once a month, resulting in a $10 credit about twice a year. This time, the owner told me the credit was only valid if I paid in cash. He backtracked and gave me the credit when he saw I was annoyed and asked to see where this policy was posted. I've been a loyal customer who has never begrudged their higher than average prices but feel disrespected and taken advantage of by this shady behavior.
Found my new go-to nail place!! Prices are more expensive but it's completely worth it. The salon itself is beautiful and relaxing. Love my new nails.
I been coming to Yina for a while now, she is a hidden gem in East northport. Jin who used to work hand by hand with Yina left for a while, to my surprise he came back as the new owner he is welcoming friendly and just really polite. They have beverages and snacks for customers. Beautiful place. I came from queens where the variety on nails salon is more Splendor then here, I am happy I found my nail spot and with the new management in hands is just a cherry on the top. They are thinking on staying open later witch will be great, specially for those who work late in the summer days. Cant wait to post new pics.
