I don't typically have the best luck with hairdressers, but having found Que....  Pronounced "Key," it looks like my luck has changed.

She is a certified, natural hair care stylist.  Which means she can't apply chemical to your hair.  She specializes in braids and at no point does she pull your hair, stress your edges or cause you pain.  She can braid every texture of hair, and does all ages and genders.  A professional in every sense of the word, Que is transparent in servicing of clients.  At every point it was clear what I was paying for and she was clear about the feasibility of each request.

Hair Galore does offer some hair care items and accessories.  She gets booked pretty far in advance so don't call and expect an appointment right away.  But do take high expectations and they will probably be exceeded.

I attended the grand opening on 6/27/21 and came back for a hair appointment 7/1/21. Yay! The owner Que is SO professional!  Que has done my hair and my daughter's hair years before she opened her salon so two things: 1)super proud of how hard she has worked to open her own salon 2)she has only gotten better and better as a stylist and entrepreneur.
I hate going to salons that are super packed from stylists overbooking, chaotic hectic atmosphere, and unprofessionalism from staff.
Not the case with Galore Salon. First of all, the website is easy to navigate and contains pictures of hairstyles available with prices and anticipated length of time for services. The time actually was on point with how long it took.
Upon walking in for my appointment she was ready for me, no wait. Calming music could be heard upon entering.
Each stylist has their own separate spacious room. Que offered to play anything on Netflix I wanted to watch, this was a bonus to catch up on some things!
A non refundable deposit is required upon booking and it's applied to your total. After she finished I paid via cashapp and I was in and out. I got a crochet. She braided quick and my hair looks good.
By the way there are limited parking spots in front of the building (be sure to pay attention to signs) but additional parking on the side of the building. It's dirt now with plans to be paved. If you want a stress free experience getting your hair done and looking good, try Galore Salon!
