Gallery Hair Studio in Sterling Heights, MI

Haven't treated myself in a while as I am always doing for others and recently broke my leg so have been really down and out. Thought I'd treat myself by buying a Groupon from here. My beautician retired so I didn't know anyone in area so I thought Groupon would be low risk and if I liked I'd stay with the person. I was excited and I called on a Sunday and I realize that most places are closed on Sundays but, hey, it lead to a VOICEMAIL BOX and it asked me to leave my name, number, and the name of the stylist I wanted to work with. Well, I have never been there so I had no clue who I wanted to work with, and that's what I said in the VM. So Sunday passes and then Monday passes with no return call. And I realize that most salons are closed on Mondays so I don't think much of it. So Tuesday comes along and I call again just before noon, I remember because I was watching Let's Make A Deal and my "routine" is to make all my calls in the morning, I don't call people in the p.m. as I am usually busy as the day progresses. Regardless, NO ONE RETURNS MY CALL. So now it's Wednesday, and this is what I'm thinking, this business has NO RECEPTIONIST AT ALL? This business HAS A GROUPON, but HAS NO ONE ANSWERING THE PHONE AND NO ONE TO RETURN A CALL? WHY? SURELY SOMEONE HAS LISTENED TO MY MESSAGES BY NOW!! 2 MESSAGES!! It's Wednesday afternoon! So at this point, I've lost all hope. I'm NOT calling a 3rd time because at this point it would be considered stalking. These people obviously cannot fulfill the services they advertise. I called GROUPON and politely requested a refund and also notified them of my difficulties getting a hold of this business and of the situation. I let them know what they did. So Groupon notified them on Friday. SO HERE IS THE BEST PART, GUESS WHO FOUND THE TIME FINALLY TO CALL ME AND OFFER ME AN APPOINTMENT (AFTER I REQUESTED A REFUND FROM GROUPON) ON FRIDAY???? GALLERY HAIR STUDIO!!!! ONE WEEK AFTER MY INITIAL VM! The first girl acted like there was nothing wrong, " hi, we were wondering if you were still interested?"...I asked why did it take you so long to call me? and she said " oh we only got your Tuesday VM" so from that I knew they already spoke to Groupon. She handed me to the owner who was like " yeah? ". Completely unapologetic and actually PUT THE BLAME ON ME!!! All i did was buy HER GROUPON and CALL TO SCHEDULE and because I left a VM at an inconvenient time for her it was my fault that no one called me back!! She was AWFUL! She said usually people schedule directly with the beauticians they want. I said but I don't know them! That's why you have the GROUPON, to meet them! She said, she's not fully staffed cause of covid. I said , then don't have a groupon if you can't fulfill it!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Thankfully Groupon was kind enough to offer a full refund and I am going to a legit place that at least has a receptionist.

I go to Patty whenever I need a trim,color. She is also our pick for my husband and daughter.We-also consider a friend after so many years with her. When she started her facial rejuvenation treatments, I trusted her to provide the best in that technology. Boy, was I pleased with the results! Everyone I see nowadays remark on how "well" I look! I'll go back to her if I want a refresher, for sure. Thank you Patty.

Love my highlights! Saw a groupon for Gallery Salon for full highlights and a haircut so thought us give it a try. Lynda did an amazing job and I really love my highlights, thank you!

I'm not sure where to even begin because I had q great experience from the time I walked in there doors. First thing I noticed was how clean and well maintained, second my appointment.was at 3 I was in Patty's chair in like 10 minutes from the time I walked in. When I got in the chair Patty was right on point offering me a drink or a snack and then she was asking me what I was interested in getting what kind of style I wanted, the color I wanted. I asked if she could give me a different look without losing any length and low and behold she did exactly what I wanted I love my new look my husband did a double take and was so happy with what Patty did It made my day that everyone loved my new look I would recommend her and her colleagues. I found the greatest hair salon and the greatest hair stylist and the part that blew my mind was when I was done she told me something I've never been told and that was if I was unhappy with my hair for any reason all I had to do was call her and she will get me right in and fix what I didn't like and here's the reason I am writing this " she will fix it for FREE" I've never heard that before most so called hair salons could care less about our feelings so go see for yourself what the difference is and one more thing I can't believe I forgot this part but the price for everything I had done I felt like I was ripping them off so please go see for yourself you won't regret it.

All of the staff is kind and they are always having fun. You feel like part of a big family. No cattiness happening in this salon. Very Talented stylist and great prices for services. They also offer refreshments to their guest. Highly recommended!
