G&S Barber and Beauty Salon in Hampton, VA

So I just moved to a new part of Hampton and was in need of a new barber so I drove my this place and few times before deciding to give it a shot. So I went in and was immediately sat with the barber on the far wall in the middle. I asked for a simple medium fade into a 1 and to leave the length on top. Well after being seated I the sat there through the longest haircut of my life. I spent a full hour in the chair just getting this fade. And after what felt like an eternity he began wiping down the back of my neck with the alcohol, and my entire back of my head began to burn. So I already knew something was gonna be wrong. He handed me the mirror and I instantly noticed that the space between my ears and hairline was not even what so ever. He had give. Space on one side and no space on the other. So I had him go ahead make it match. And then I finally paid and left. I knew that this man had cut me all up, I've never had a haircut hurt/burn that bad. I chalked it up to I was just being a baby until the next morning when I woke up and felt the back of my head I could instantly feel the cuts. I have never had a haircut this bad in my entire life. Honestly if this is how this establishment cuts all their clients hairs it's a miracle that they're still in business. I will by no means ever return to this barber shop again for anything. My Barber of 10 years moved out of state, and I had the dilemma of having to find a new Barber. Getting my nails done my technician mentioned the barbershop next door, G&s barbershop and beauty salon. I walked in, and met Rico, who assured me I was in good hands...he was right! I was nervous, but he cut my hair, faded, tapered, lined and cleaned it up. it is by far the best I've had. I love my hair short, and he cut it short and still very feminine. I found a new Barber and my husband was so impressed he'll be getting his hair cut by Rico too!!!
