Frontier Salon & Spa in Clayton, CA

Looking for a trim and Liza did an excellent job. I was able to get an appointment the same day that I called. Cute place that is close by and a lot nicer than going to the nearby great clips.

You know when you move to a new place and are desperately looking for a colorist who can help you achieve what you only thought possible in your head? I am so lucky to have trusted my gut coming here for a new color. Lacy works magic, I had an idea of what I wanted, but she brought it to life and improved the vision. I enjoyed the vibe of the place, it doesn't feel like a regular salon, it was very cute, and I enjoyed the energy, it feels like your hometown salon where you know you're going to get to know each other very well. I also want to shout out the tableside manners, I felt like each hairdresser bounced off the energy the client was giving them. I found myself having conversations with other customers I don't know. But still very much enjoying myself and feeling very comfortable. Lacy I hope you know that you have a return client! You have gotten me excited about self expression with my hair again. And I know that's a lot for one visit, but I think I had made this appointment at a time I really needed that support. So thank you!!

I just moved into this area and DESPERATELY needed a haircut as my previous stylist retired during COVID and I hadn't found anyone I wanted to go back to since then, so after a quick search I decided to give Frontier Salon a try. The salon is so cute, clean and organized, and all the stylists were SO nice, I felt very comfortable and welcomed as soon as I walked in. Makenzie did an amazing job with my cut and took the time to explain things to me I didn't know about my own hair (lol, I'm not great at hair!). She listened to what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable with the length I asked for off before she started cutting. Lacey also helped with my cut and we all chatted the whole time I was there. Great experience from start to finish, thank you so much I will definitely be back! :)

I forgot I had come here during covid.... I contacted the salon via email last night and was so blessed to have Shelley get back to me regarding a horrible haircut I received elsewhere. She squeezed me in this morning and fixed the big mess of backwards layers I had be given on Thursday. She took her time, figured out what had been done incorrectly and how she could go about fixing it. I gave my input and she did what I asked for as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHELLEY! She was so nice and precise and I'm very grateful she fixed my hair before my vacation. Thank you, Shelley!

I called at the last minute to see if there were openings. Lacie took time to listen to me and what my concerns were and then she worked her magic. So glad I called and can't wait to go back again!
