Fresh Hair Salon & Day Spa in Sioux City, IA

Ladies I don't recommend going there if you have long hair and have highlights or color treatment, because you will definitely not be satisfied with results. Limited in stylists and experience .My hair stylist did my highlights all wrong parts of them were orange and brassy . I went back to let them know and show them I was not happy with the botched job. The manager basically put the same girl that had botched my hair to re-touch it /fix it. At the end she never offered to cut my hair and rushed me out without drying my hair. It was horrible super expensive for amateur work it was unprofessional .

I was looking for a new stylist because Jody from Stewart's moved away..went there excited and with high hopes...color& cut big splurge for me...1st i was shocked by how my skin was stained by the dark color,forhead stained too...i had a family reunion the next day! The cut she was in a hurry...i was charge $215! My hair was fried the cut wasnt even..i went somewhere else to get it straightened out & deep conductioned... this was a HUGE MISTAKE...STAY AWAY!!!

Unfortunately, my review is not good.  I have been to many salons to get my hair dyed, but what I asked for I did not get.  Also, they charged $250 for my 14 year old granddaughter and me to get our hair done for a total cost of $500. I realized that I should have asked the cost before I started.  We were in the chairs for seven hours! When I asked why it took so long to mix the color, she told me that she couldn't find the stuff.  There was another client in the salon that had to get her hair stripped of the color and redone.  She was not happy.  When I spoke to the manager, who was working still on my granddaughter's hair, and told her that I hated my hair, she did tell me that she wanted me to be happy.  I made an appointment for next week to see if she can fix it.

I have had two hair cuts, a microderm treatment, and a highlight here.  I have never gone to a real salon to have my hair done before using this salon for the first time several months ago.  I am very happy with the outcomes.  It is more expensive than I'm used to, about $35 for a hair cut, $12 for an eyebrow wax and $70 for highlight of less than shoulder length hair (plus tip), but I am happy with the outcome so I feel it is money well spent.  

I really don't know much about getting my hair done and the stylist didn't make me feel stupid.  When he asked if I wanted my hair like so-and-so celebrity and I stared at him blankly with my (Discover magazine on my lap) and told him I didn't know what that person looked like, he tried his best to find a visual example of what he was talking about.  

I recommend this salon to all of my friends when the opportunity arises.  You do need an appointment, and you probably won't get in the next day as they are pretty busy, but I like it and will go back, repeatedly.
