Not a clean salon , I dislike when they have a dirty chair and place the hair on it. Floors nasty, towels dirty, fingers crusty! Just not sanitary enough. Sanitation is very important

This was my second time going here and never again! It was recommended by a coworker. The first time I went, I got lemonade braids which cost $100. Everywhere else said $150. I chose this place again because of the low prices. I called for box braids and Fatu told me it would be $85. I made the appointment for 5pm on a Saturday. I get there and her daughter was rude and apparently didn't know about the appointment. She seemed like she didn't want to do my hair. She had an attitude the whole time. I go to pay and she said the card machine wasn't working and to cashapp her. I said repeatedly the price I was told and she said ok. Her and Fatu. I showed her to make sure it was correct and she said yes. I sent the money. I leave and about 10 mins later, she requested $100 twice and said it was $185. I declined because that's not what I was told. Then in the morning, she messaged me on Facebook asking for money and threatened to call the police if I didn't pay. I sent her the money only because I don't need that pettiness and police around my daughter over $100. I felt harassed and I tried to contact Fatu about it. My coworker had to call. She claimed the price was $185. I would never pay that much for this style! Overpriced and rude people. Never again!!

The owner of this salon is rude and nasty!! As Fatu was doing my hair I noticed she made the braids smaller than the picture I showed her and when I tried to explain how I wanted it done.. she started yelling "Don't tell me how to do my job! I know how to do my job! If want to do your own hair you can go home." This was my first time ever been to this salon and it will be my last visit! I thought this was a decent salon because I saw all the nice reviews and thought I would give her shop a try but I rather stick with my regular braider... do better Fatu is very unprofessional!

I've gotten my hair done here 3 times. This will be my last. The salon rarely opens on time, and even when I make appointments they've never started on my head on time. This last time I walked out after sitting for 30 minutes, waiting on Fatu to start on my hair. I left because two other clients showed up with appointments at the same time as mine, and it was clear they'd overbooked and would not be able to do all of our hair at our scheduled time. Professionalism is non-existent here, and if you're on a schedule this is not the salon to book with. I like the work the ladies do, but they are not reliable, even with appointments. As someone who has children and works I have to have a stylist who can manage time better than this and keep appointments. They do good work WHEN they can actually get to you.

I scheduled an appointment for 9:15am. The owner called me at 9:12 to confirm the appointment. I pulled into the parking lot at 9:15 and the shop was closed. After waiting for 20 I left to pick up food. She was pulling up as I left. I let her know. I returned and without any acknowledgement of being super late, she got started on my head. I sent her the image of the style I wanted when I booked. Because I refuse to lose my edges to braids, I'm always clear I don't want my hair weighed down. I asked that she make larger squares with less extension hair. She said it was fine. I explained my logic she insisted, as did I. She then told me to separate the hair myself. For context, the first row, at my nape was only three braids. Similar encounters occurred throughout the process. I asked her not to put Blue Magic on my scalp. She was threw up her hands again. Finally I inquired about the front. She made the braids larger than we discussed. She threw her hands up and loudly started ranting about she knows what she's doing. At that stage I could walk out as my head was 1/2 done. I've been here several times and the pricing was questionable, but I like the work. I'll pay for quality and professionalism ANY TIME. This experience is enough for me NEVER to return though.
