i love my nails. I don't like the time you have to wait, I showed up at the nail salon at 1:53 PM didn't get service till 2:53 PM and I had to wait a couple more minutes till around 3:20 PM and she started working on my nails. my nails were finished at around 5:03 PM. it was $50,Even though I asked for solar set which was $30. I sadly didn't tip is I was so angry about waiting a couple hours. some of the nails are a little uneven and she nicked some of my skin a couple times. I saw a couple people leave because of the long wait.
One thing I love about this salon is the cleanliness. I always see someone cleaning every time I come here. I've heard you can tell how clean a place is by the condition of their bathroom, and I will say it's always spotless. That's a big plus for me and it puts me at ease to know they care about cleanliness.
I've been coming to Julie a while now for a gel manicure and pedicure. She does a beautiful job each time, and she is so sweet! I actually live across town and drive 20 minutes out of my way just to come here. As someone who hates to drive, with 2 other nail salons right by my house, that's a big deal.
I highly recommend this nail salon!
This place is so fun!great designs lots of polish to choose from.Kim did a great job on my nails.if your looking for a design Tina is amazing
My sister asked me to go with her to get her nails done. She was SO excited about getting them done and having Tina do them because she had seen her work on her friends nails.we invited some friends along. My sister made an appointment and when we got there they didn't even seem to acknowledge we even had an appointment.
I sat down for my pedicure and my sister was waiting patiently for her appointment. We were completely finished with my pedicures and she was still waiting for Tina who never acknowledged my sister. It was an hour after my sister's appointment and Tina was with a new client. We were extremely unhappy with how the situation was handled. If she was that busy then she shouldn't have made the appointment with my sister in the first place.
We will NEVER be back!
I rarely write reviews, but this place has been very disappointing lately. I used to love coming here to see Joel, but he's since moved to another salon.
I went in yesterday, as I do fairly frequently to get a Shellac manicure. I waited a bit, but they were busy, so I let it slide. I sat down with an older lady who was nice but when I asked her to please not file down my nails, she immediately filed down one super short. Then they all had to be filed down to match. Again, I let it slide, because my nails grow pretty fast.
Then it just went downhill. She wasn't paying attention at all to what she was doing, kept getting up or focusing on other things, and when she finally finished, my nails looked awful. She had painted up onto my cuticles, and all over the place really. So they chipped today, of course, because even I know if you paint onto the cuticle the gel won't bond to the nail, and is therefore effectively pointless.
I'm going back today to get my money back and just go somewhere else from now on. It's super disappointing because I recommended this place to a friend, and the lady who did hers did a pretty great job. But this is the second iffy Shellac job I've gotten there, so I think I'm just going to cut ties with this place.
UPDATE: I went and got my money back with no problems, and Tina and another lady were apologetic. Just be selective about who you utilize here and you should be okay.
