Very unprofessional. Sarah canceled by text the day of appointment due to a medical emergency. Totally get that; things happen. She offers the next day, which won't work for my work schedule so I politely inquired about just getting my $40 deposit back. No response but after a few days I see a refund on my account for $35. No explanation for the missing $5. I send a text, respectfully, asking - no response. I'll let the texts speak for themselves. I think it's apparent this isn't about $5. It's poor business practice by someone who wants to treat me as the problem over their own poor communication skills. And seriously- $5 is kept every time you cancel on someone because of your computer system?? That's actually called stealing, BTW.

I got eyelash extensions for the first time just for my wedding, and they look great! I got many complements on them at work, then at my rehearsal dinner and then at my wedding. I went for the hybrid lashes, which are more natural looking. Several people who complemented me on the lashes thought they were natural! I'm in Hawaii now on my honeymoon, and the lashes are still very full 5 days later, even after I've gone completely underwater in the ocean. I wiped out multiple times when I went surfing today.
My friend (she doesn't use yelp so I'm posting for her) had her lashes done about a week ago and during the process was poked in the eye with the application tool. The next day, she woke up with both eyes red and swollen. She went to the doctor and was diagnosed with pink eye. She needed two medications to clear it up. She has attempted to contact the business, however phone calls haven't been answered and an email has only been answered with an auto-generated return message which did not resolve her issue of course. The lashes and application was also quite expensive at $180, much more than I've seen at other salons. Not to mention the added cost of the doctor visit and medication. I think she deserves a refund, hopefully we can get in contact with the owner soon
