I used to come to this braiding salon once a month to get my hair done. Today will be my last time doing so. Along with waiting for an hour and a half for someone to start my hair, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who does what in whom and when. They switch between clients constantly. They play Braiding musical chairs while you try to figure out who is going to come over to you and do your hair next. They have only been doing my hair for an hour and I've already had two people working on it.
When I called, I was told the price would be $180. When I arrived to the salon, and they saw me and the image of what I wanted, I was again told $180. But for some reason after waiting almost two hours, the moment I get in the chair, the price changed to $200-220 because my hair was short.
MY HAIR WAS THE SAME LENGTH AN HOT LATER AS IT WAS WHEN I WALKED IN THE DOOR! WTF?!
Halfway through doing my hair, my went to start on a new client's hair and I was left with half of my hair done for well over 15 minutes in the chair. No explanation no nothing other than one of the braiders, currently doing someone else's head told me she would be right with me.
These folks do decent work but if you're natural out your kid is natural, you can forget about someone trying to take care of the hair braided into your braids or your natural hair. The pull, twist, pick and comb through with wreckless abandon. They could care less about your natural hair.
I'm learning how to make next box braids asap.
Super fast and great work and nice parts matter the most to me and the ladies here nail it. If they are packed I willing to wait because of the great work they do!

Truly an awesome experience! Sally and Marium braided my hair in record time! They were very friendly and accomadating! My braids are PERFECT, neat and matching in size! I love them!
Getting your hair braided can take many hours! Most time food and drink is not an option but I like the fact that they now sell drinks. They do a really good job but hated the fact they they weren't staffed much and I had to wait a hour even before I started my 6 hour braid job.
