FA Beauty Supply & Hair Braid in Mt Clemens, MI

They originally had two locations but I guess the other location on 23 mile is permanently closed because the rude lady who worked there is now at this beauty supply. I've been going to FA for 14 years now. But it was different Braiders this time when I got my 2 feed in braids, which only lasted 2 days top! Very disappointed. Guess I'll have to find a new Braider.

Very Bad experience, I came in with my 5 year old child, as I came through the door I spoke and the lady just starred at me while she talked on the phone. I then asked about a product and if there was a product that was morw reasonable because it was my first time trying the product. She replied No I can go to Sally's in a very uncomfortable tone. She walked from behind the counter and was telling she was saying all kinds of curse words and I asked if she was owner she begin to call me out my name. I came back and repeatedly asked for the owner. I was scared for my life at this point because she started to threatened me. I will make sure I get in touch with some one who is the owner! This behavior should not be tolerated in a business nor should customers be treated this way.

The staff is quite knowledgeable of the products they sell. Takes the time to answer questions and advises the right products for your particular need. Very friendly too

I really like FA Beauty Supply and Hair Braiding. It's my new Beauty Supply Store! The people are friendly and helpful. They don't skulk around as if you're going to steal from them. The store is packed full of products I want and love. The only problem today was that my husband was in the car and I thought I should hurry. But when I got to the car I learned he wasn't in a hurry at all. I like this store soooo much that I make You Tube Videos of it!! I live quite a ways from it, so I have to start making a list of everything I need when I go there! Loyal Customer Ginger Tansil

Worst service. They seriously overcharged me for two french braids that took all of 15 minutes to do. I asked for them to be feed-in jumbo braids, which I wouldn't have minded paying $60 for, but no. I got two regularazz braids. Looked like a kinder-gardener. To add insult to the matter, on top of paying $60, I also had to buy the pack of synthetic hair from them, which was only about $3, but still. So they didn't have my hair color, and to use a pack with my color they would've had to use a more premium brand that cost $1 more. They realized this after I'd already paid, and one of the teenaged girls have the nerves to say, "Well charge her the extra dollar - she's just going to have to pay." The shop looks like a dump, everyone in there smells horribly - no deodorant, skimpy clothes, messy areas, and they don't do hair prep like pressing or warm-combing before a style. The stylist had the type of edge control I use, and when I told her that is what I used, she purposely decided to use that cheesy white Eco-Styler, GLOBS OF IT, and before I could get home good my hair was flaking everywhere that it was drying. She used half of one quarter of the hair I bought to add in, and never gave me the remaining almost full pack that I PAID FOR to take home with me. The style lasted all of 3 days. Don't go here. I saw another girl walk in because she'd left her keys earlier that day after getting braided. Her hair was horrific. They need to shut this place down, they are so unprofessional.
