Myself, and the majority of my friends, have gone to Amanda Bowen for years. She is GREAT! She never is willing to do anything that will harm your hair, but always provides suggestions that keep your hair healthy, and leaves you looking great. Not once, have I left disappointed. She has done multiple different hair coloring techniques, cuts, and extensions on my hair (which is really curly, but I wear it straight) and all have turned out looking awesome.
Absolutely love this place. Lynette never tries to talk me or my girls out of what we want and we always like the results. Great conversation too.
I love this salon! I see Kayla for my hair. I have long thick hair and Kayla knows exactly what to do with it. She is truly a genius and seems to know exactly what I want done with my hair even if I can't seem to find the words. She goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy with my hair. The first time I saw her she worked on my hair for over 6 hours and probably would have kept going if need be. Normally my hair doesn't take this long but she corrected a lot of mistakes my previous hair dresser had made. Not only is Kayla amazing at her craft, she is professional, sweet, kind, and punctual. Whenever she finishes my hair she admires it so intently that I feel as though I have a work of art on my head! Love leaving the salon feeling so good about my hair and myself. She describes exactly what she is doing from start to finish so I feel involved and more knowledgable. As I said before, my hair is long and think and also a security blanket so I wouldn't trust it to just anyone. I have to qualms about bringing my mane into Kayla so she can work her magic. Just today my boss described my hair as "celebrity hair". This is all thanks to Kayla. It would be a mistake not to take your hair to Kayla. I should also mention I live in the Bay Area, and make the 2.5 hour drive to see Kayla because she is just that good!
Kayla is the best stylist I've ever had. Simply put, I drive 2 1/2 hours from San Jose to Roseville just to see her....I don't trust anyone else. I don't ask to see what color she's going to use on my hair, I just leave it up to her knowing my hair will be amazing looking and the same with the cut. I'm super thankful for Kayla and so lucky to have found her!! She even cuts my five year old daughter's crazy, curly, knotted, gorgeous hair and leaves it so pretty and soft and... I could go on! Anyway ...go see this girl and I guarantee your happiness! :)
As a regular client of Kayla in who was formerly in Morgan Hill Ca. I can say without a doubt she is an exceptional artist when it comes to cutting hair. My wife and I were very upset that she decided to move back to Roseville. This being said we decided to take Mohamed to the mountain by driving to Roseville every four or five weeks to get our hair taken care of. Kayla manages to go to regular seminars to improve her already talented skills, I am also impressed with her willingness to be available for short notice cuts for myself and colors for my wife.. I would highly recommend her if you are very particular the how you look...
