European Wax Center in Arroyo Grande, CA

Very disappointed in keeping sustainable waxers and customers. Text message service does not understand my concerns and tries to sweep the issue under the rug. I am canceling

So glad to have a European Wax Center in Arroyo Grande that's open 7 days a week (different hours for different days)! I was able to schedule an appointment the day of and they were so patient with me rescheduling the time back 30 mins due to traffic. My appointment went smoothly, my only complaint is that the area that was being waxed wasn't waxed thoroughly. The wax was also very warm and I've informed my waxer but the temperature stayed the same. Nonetheless, I could always try a different waxer next time I visit :)

Very clean place, fast service. I can usually get in same day if I need to. Everyone that works there is so nice & accommodating. My go-to place for wax services.

It's sad that I'm having to leave this review. I've been going to European wax center for at least 4 years. I've been buying their packages yearly. Every time I go, I have to see a different waxer. All my favorite waxers have left. They keep losing the good waxers that make the experience so much more comfortable and actually leave you hairless without pain. I was okay with that until they bumped up the price again on the packages! There's no way wax cost has gone up that much that a Brazilian wax package is now almost $800! It used to be in the $500s. When she told me the price, I said no thank you! I went on to look at laser hair removal and guess what? You can get a package for a little more than that! Charging so much and you can't pay your waxers well enough to keep them! It's really sad. I just finished my last Brazilian and have a few more underarms in my package and you'll never see me again. You will slowly lose customers as you continue to hire new waxers that continue to learn how to wax on your customers. No one wants to pay $66 for a waxer that takes a long time and doesn't do a proper job at removing hair. Pay your good waxers well so they don't leave! I've lost 4-6 waxers over time and have had to keep trying different ones to find a new one and IT SUCKS!

Go see Alex! A friend recommended this place to me and originally told me to ask for someone else. That person was booked and Alex was available when I needed to get in. I decided to try and have her help me out and man am I glad I did! Alex was amazing and I am never going back to anyone else ever again! Thank you!!
