Erika Passey in San Antonio, TX

i have been coming to erika for 2 years to get my hair done. i used to love her, and we were so close. i came back to her to get my roots done after going to college for the semester. she absolutely didn't match my roots at all and when i asked about it, she gave me an explanation that i didn't understand and proceeded to tell me how much less she is already charging me. The fact that she let me walk out of her apartment with my hair looking like that, trying to convince me it looked good and "would look fine in pictures." is appalling. My hair was a level 10 blonde. I was in no rush, and after 2 years of her doing my roots the exact same way in the same amount of time, I expected nothing different. after texting her photos this morning of my hair, and expressing my concern, she then blocked me on all messages, and social media. The fact that her way of handling an unhappy client is by BLOCKING them from all forms to contact her. I went to a professional salon, where multiple hair stylists looked at my hair and were in complete total shock that this was done by someone who is licensed. i considered erika to be a close friend. if this is how she treats a client of 2 years, i can't imagine the i professionalism with anyone else.

Erika is a hair artist and stylist who is a perfectionist. She is highly skilled, fast, flexible around her clients schedules when able and fun to be around when you're in the chair getting worked on. She's also very knowledgeable about the products she's using on you which I liked because I have a lot of sensitivities to hair products. I go to Erika for my color/cuts, Brazilian Blowouts and to get my hair deep conditioned. Her prices are so reasonable I've found that even during the summer when most people don't get Brazilians because they are hitting the pools and beach it's still worth it to me because it leaves my hair so manageable and shiny that even though it wears off faster because I'm doing things that make it not last as long as it does in fall/winter/spring, I'm spending as much as a normal salon would charge to get it done 1x and instead getting it done 2-3x over the summer. I highly recommend Erika, I know I'll keep going back, there's really no reason to waste time and money going anywhere else! She's the best!

Called (speaker phone bc I hate having a phone close to my face) yesterday to try to schedule an appointment for my daughter. As I'm listening to voicemail, I get a text from Erika letting me know she's with a client but to let her know date/ time and service needed. Loved the text especially because I dislike leaving voicemails because I sound like a dork! Lol Scheduled the appointment for today, 10/07/18, at 1:30pm for a Brazilian blowout for my daughter. My daughter's cheer performance ran late which meant we were late for her appointment. Erika was so kind to wait for us. Erika does AMAZING work all while being cheerful & great conversation! She is extremely knowledgeable of the services she is providing & my daughter is absolutely over the moon about her hair. From appointment scheduling to the moment we walked out, Erika made our experience easy!!! We will definitely be back as well as recommend her to everyone!! My daughter has already received several compliments and we've already recommended Erika. My only regret is not getting her business card to pass out!

Erika has been doing my hair for years ! With her knowledge and expertise I have been able to obtain the hair I've always wanted ! I get compliments all the time how healthy and long and shiny my hair is. I send all my family and friends her way ! Great prices, personable and always a great end result ! You won't be disappointed!

Erika is my favorite hair stylist. I trust her with all of my hair needs. I get balayage, Brazilian blowouts and wouldn't go anywhere else. She is super friendly. I'm so happy she moved back to SA!
