Selecting a beauty salon is a combination of personal preferences and practical considerations. When searching, look into aspects such as the range of services offered, staff expertise, customer reviews, salon cleanliness, and overall ambiance. Personal recommendations from friends or family can be very helpful. It's also a good idea to visit the salon or have a consultation to get a firsthand feel for the environment and services.
In La Mesa, the price of beauty treatments varies greatly, from $25 to $200 or more. The cost of beauty treatments can greatly vary depending on the salon's reputation, and the specific service in question. For specific pricing, it's recommended to check local beauty salon menus or reach out directly for quotations.
While facials, waxing, and eyebrow services consistently remain in demand, the latest trends can shift. Beauty trends and preferred services can change over time and might vary by region. For current trends in La Mesa, consider consulting with local beauty salons or following regional beauty bloggers and influencers.
You can call Empire Beauty Supply & Salon directly, or visit their website for more info on booking appointments.
Many beauty salons experience peak traffic on weekends, especially on Saturday mornings and afternoons. Weekday evenings can also be particularly busy as clients tend to schedule post-work appointments. Booking in advance is always advised, but if you're seeking a less bustling environment, you can inquire with Empire Beauty Supply & Salon about their quieter hours.
Always has whatever product Im looking for. Workers are very nice and helpful and serve with a smile
No customer service, cheaper prices elsewhere. After getting my eyebrows done in the mall I remembered I needed some false eyelashes and some cotton rounds. Rather than go to target I stopped in here. There were two employees working and zero customers in the store. Found the eyelashes, $6 for one pair, and walked around the store a couple of times looking for the cotton rounds. Neither employee offered to help me find anything or was friendly, even though the store was empty. After feeling like they didn't want my business, I put the eyelashes back and ordered a 5 pack on Amazon for $8. It's sad when you try to support a local business but they don't treat their customers well.
I recently came to this beauty supply to try some new hair products. I was very happy with my visit! The girls are amazing!! I was able to ask so many questions and they had answers to all of them. Not once did I feel like I was bothersome they were so sweet and professional. I'm glad I found this place it's great!
I used to shop at theGrossmont location all the time but won't be anymore. Poor service. I won't be back. I'll try another location next time because up to my last visit, I've always liked them.
This past Saturday June 8 we had decided to got to Grossmont Mall for the puppy adoption that was going on throughout the mall. when we first arrived, my daughter wanted to check this place out so we entered. When we first went in, there were 2 employees working and greeted us so we went around looking for curly hair products and noticed you guys had tester labeled on some of them, we proceeded to read the label and they were 2 products that caught our eye. We decided to try the products on our hair, noticed this lady walking around looking at us but at the time we were clueless of what she was doing, next thing I know the client goes to the register and said something to the employee, not sure what was said but immediately after that conversation the employee walked up to us and told us we couldn't try any products!!!! I was confused about her comment and I asked her not even the testers? She looked at us and walked back to her register and saw that same client whispering to her!!! This was the worst discrimination I have ever felt this place will not even look into it they will just believe others roaming around. That employee was a POS for harassing us we were just browsing and we have common decency and respect to only look at testers I was so disgusted with this place I truly hope the management team looks into this and fires that employee. If I was alone I think I wouldn't be so upset but having my sophomore in college daughter with me was truly a slap in the face for undermining me and for not following up just to verify that we weren't using new products I will never ever step foot in this place and I will let all my friends and patients know what kind of place they have running here. It's a disgrace that I'm 2019 we still have ignorant people like her.
