Elements Salon & Day Spa in Concord, NC

Showed my stylist a picture of brown highlights, (who was aware that I was willing to pay extra for toner and balayage) and received the skunk-like stripes seen in the image below in response, leading to a nightmare journey of cover up attempts and gasps from stylists at other salons that I consulted who were shocked at "who did this" to my hair. The stylist that executed the highlights was sweet and the atmosphere was relaxing and clean, hence the 2 stars that I (dare I say generously) have given. However, the quality of the highlights were not only unlike the photo that I showed the stylist, but also poorly created in regards to lack of toning, placement, and thickness. When attempting to contact the original stylist in regards to fixing the skunk-lights, poor communication and extra charges were received in response, along with an appointment date over a week later, which is why I went over the highlights with a dark color on my own after receiving some kind  advice from some Sally's Beauty staff, who were also horrified at the state of my hair.  I will not be going to Elements Salon again.

Meredith is an incredibly talented stylist. I have followed her over the years to different salons because she is my go to girl! I gladly drive over 30min to see her.  She can do stunning vivid fashion colors and beautiful everyday looks. Bridal, runway, you name it she can do it. Shes professional, fun and all around amazing. If you want beautiful hair Meredith is not going to disappoint.

First time here and saw Meredith. She was able to squeeze me in at the last minute after a cancellation which was great. Very friendly, my hair looks great and the salon was clean and inviting.

I love the employees and available services. I visit this salon on a regular basis. My only issue is that the air conditioner is ALWAYS ON. I understand it is a salon and dryers are on, but it is cold in there. Today it is so cold my nose started running and I'm shivering. Then, I leaned on the wall and paint got on my shirt arm. Should there not have been a sign to tell me the paint was wet? Who paints while customers are coming in on a weekend when it is extra busy?

We just moved to NC from CA and I was dreading having to find a new salon and stylist.  I happen to use Groupon all the time and there was a Groupon coupon so I thought why not.  I called and left a message and the next day Mallory called and set up an appointment.  She spent a lot of time coloring my hair and making sure I was happy with the end results.  I'll be back
