Elegant Nails & Spa in Greensboro, NC

I visited Elegant Nails & Tan recently to get a pedicure. The  nail salon I usually go to is closed on Sundays and I decided to go here instead. When I walked in, I checked in at the front and then was led to pick a color. They have a pretty good selection of colors in regular, gel and SNS polish. The environment was nice and relaxing. The pedicure was nice and relaxing as well. I feel that my feet were smooth and looked great after. The pedicure was pretty affordable as well. I'll definitely be back again.

I love elegant nails! I have been going for years! I will never go anywhere else! The elegant team is kind, does fabulous work, friendly, and the new renovations are marvelous!

What's the point of calling and making a reservation if they're just going to ignore the fact that you have one when you get there?

My experience here was truly just okay. I don't think I'll be going back, but it wasn't horrible. I went with two friends for pedicures and manicures, and my friends called earlier in the day to schedule an appointment for us in the mid-afternoon. We showed up for our appointment at 3:30, and it was incredibly busy. I could tell right away that we weren't going to be seated right away, but I hoped that it wouldn't be too long.

After we had been sitting and waiting for about 25 mins, they called us over to remove our current manicures by soaking them in a bowl of acetone without filing or removing any of my previous manicure. I ended up sitting for about another 25 minutes with my nails soaking in pure acetone, which didn't feel the healthiest.

Finally, around 4:25, they sat me in a chair and a nail tech came around 10 minutes later. My pedicure was once again okay, but I can still see some of the nail polish from my previous pedicure on my nails, since she didn't completely remove it when she started.

The pedicure itself was fine-- nothing so mind-blowing that I'd recommend this place to my friends.

My manicure was also okay, but the tech didn't pay any attention to my cuticles or nail care. My nails look good, not great.

Finally, they thanked me for waiting so long as I was walking out of my appointment. I appreciate the recognition, but I feel that it would be good policy to either call before our appointment saying "We're running behind" or being up front and telling us that we'd have to wait once we arrived. At least then I could have gone to Target instead of sitting in the salon.

After going to some not so good nail salons in the area this was a positive surprise! I went with my friend and we both got pedicures. They were both done really well with the right amount of force on the scrubbing of the legs. They also use hot stones instead of hot towels which was very enjoyable. Both of our pedicures look great, mine a regular and hers a French tip.

The part that makes this experience a 5 instead of a 4 for me was it was by far the best nail experience that I have had in this area and it was such a good price for the excellent service you receive. If I had one bad thing to say it would be that it took 15ish mins to get started of just sitting around but this wasn't a big issue more of something to look out for if you are on a time crunch.

Over my years and years... and years of gettin' my nails done, I've been to many nail salons in several different cities. Some, I liked. Some, I don't wanna talk about However, me and #BestMomEver have been going to Elegant Nails for a couple years now and we will, no doubt, have our very last nail appointment there when we're old and gray
 The place is always neat and clean and the staff is super friendly every single time. In all the times we've gone, we have never had to wait more than a few minutes for service.
 They have the biggest selection of SNS colors I've ever seen and carousels full of polish colors. The price is comparable to any other nail place, but better than some when compared to the service you get.
 Need nails done? Go here! You won't regret it!
