Eclipse Hair Salon in Cleveland, OH

Cients beware. I have been going to this salon for a few years for hair cuts. I made an appointment and the day of the hair cut I received a call that said my stylist had "retired!" I got a reminder call the day before to come in. I went to the salon to ask what happened and to my surprise, she was there and cutting hair. I would think twice before making any appointment here!

I bought a $105.00 Groupon for Full Head Highlights, Deep Conditioning, Haircut, Blow-Dry & Style with Denisse. Instead I asked for Partial Highlights and the rest of the package. I received the cut (did not wash my hair before cutting). Was asked what color highlights I wanted light brown, medium brown, or dark brown. I said light brown lowlights. I was not shown the color before hand to see if that was the color I wanted. Turned out you can not tell I even had lowlights done. Both Denisse and I were looking hard for them in my hair. Hair conditioning was good. Hair was just blown dry, not styled. Since I was using a Groupon, Denisse spent about 15-20 minutes telling me that she doesn't make but a small percentage from the Groupon purchase. I told her that was something she needed to talk with management about. I don't like being shamed about using a Groupon. I will NEVER go there again.

In over 30 years of having my hair colored, I have NEVER EVER been charged extra to have the color put through the ends of my hair. Apparently "one process" hair color at Total Eclips means only having your roots dyed. And my hair is short - its barely 1 inch over the top of my ears. I was charged an extra $15 because I insisted that they pull the color through to my ends. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Bought Groupon for haircut color blowdry.was with donna.do not recommended totally messed up my hair did not listen to color I wanted totally different also cut way more hair off then I said. Talked to owner Sue she was very rude said Donna would fix hair.would she go to same person that screwed her hair up what a joke.The owner is.your responsible for who you have working for you.

I received the worst haircut here three months ago and I am still waiting for it to grow out enough to get a decent cut. I should have known better when the only other customer in the salon was upset and demanding her money back!
