Echelon Studio in Flemington, NJ

Norma at Echelon is outstanding! I was trying to transition from a medium brown to my natural gray color, and in the process managed to turn at least 3/4 of my long hair an unattractive brassy blond color with an ugly orange hue. My hair looked really unattractive, and for over two years I could only wear it in a pony tail. During that time I'd gone to FOUR other salons. One said they couldn't fix the color, one didn't want to take the time to fix the color, one would ONLY try to fix the color if I cut off at least four (or more) inches of hair (I want to keep my long hair) and one salon wanted me to pay an unbelievably exorbitant amount for the process! Luckily I was referred by a friend to Norma. Not only is she a sweet and delightful person, she completed the process in two sessions a week apart at what I thought to be a very reasonable price. After the first session I was delighted, but after the second session I nearly considered it a miracle and had to give her a hug. I am SO PROUD of the fantastic job she did with the color that I can show it off to everyone and finally wear my hair down again. Not only does Norma do a great job, she is delightful and the salon is great. When you first go there they have a form you fill out to determine how you like to be treated, which I found outstanding. The staff is gracious, and Norma is flexible and considerate; so much that I actually let her cut off a little of my hair. She was wonderful about doing exactly what I asked. I have already made my next appointment with Norma, and I look forward to going back to Echelon again.

Echelon studio did my hair for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier with their work! Norma, the salon owner, offered a hair trial where she took time to show me many different hair options / updo looks for my wedding day. Norma and her team traveled to my venue on the day of my wedding to do my hair/ entire wedding party. The results were stunning! Norma and her team are amazing, talented women and I would highly recommend them!

I've gotten my hair cut and colored here. Fabulously talented team! On my last visit I walked in and asked if they had any availability that day to color my ends and for a cut. The receptionist did an exceptional job and called up one of the stylists, Luci, who said she'd be there in 15 minutes. What service! Luci did a FANTASTIC job. I've never ever been happy with my hair right after a cut--always felt it looked weird and needed a couple days to get used to my new do. But this time I was in love right after! Luci listened very well to what I wanted and did exactly that. I have let my roots grow way out, so the bottom of my hair was very blonde and the top brunette. I asked her to touch up the blonde and have it transition naturally into my darker hair. She's a genius, it looks so natural! The salon in general is very clean, smells good, they have drinks, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The entire staff is professional and welcoming. I highly recommend!!

I called at 3:15 to get an immediate appointment. I ended up getting an opening for 3:30 with Mandy. I had gotten a hair cut from someone prior that I just wanted fixed and touched up. I honestly don't think I've ever been so happy with a hair cut. The way Mandy fixed and touched everything up was EXACTLY how I wanted it and more. I highly highly recommend and looks like I'll be switching to Echelon from now on!

This place rocks! My girlfriends friend works here she did an amazing job on my haircut. She spent 45 min making sure that everything was perfect! I really enjoyed their service, I even bought some gel here as well! Really nice place with awesome people!
