I read the other reviews and was very skeptical. Upon being turned away by multiple salons because they had no openings I decided to give it a shot. I called and made an appointment and went same day. They have reasonable prices same day appointments and they did a fabulous job I don't know why there are so many negative reviews.
I absolutely love getting my nails done here..I've read all the reviews below me & I've not experienced any of this.. I always spend over 100$ in there & walk out very satisfied. As far as the unfair treatment I've never witnessed anyone being treated differently due to skin tone..Everytime that I've ever been in there the technicians are more than friendly with the customers regardless what color you are.. ladies don't let a couple bad reviews run you off this is actually a decent place to come & get your nails done...
I'm here right now and this place is Awful! PAY ATTENTION to the ONE STAR! First of black people DO NOT waste your money somewhere where they do no respect you and this is one. The man completely rushed through my feet and did a halfway job. He didn't put no lotion on, take the dead skin off or ANYTHING! When I proceeded to tell them this they told me that ain't something they did. My friend started her pedicure 20 mins before me and I finished 15 mins before her! This place is bullshit! Not just black people but everyone there are a million and one nail shops in this city please don't waste your time at one that doesn't care about you nor your money!!
Not even worth a rating. My nails were healthy until they touched them. I got gel polish and not even a day later my nails were breaking down the middle, polish was peeling, and my cuticles looked horrible. They have a water bugs and it's disgusting in there. Even if this was the only place open, it's still not worth it.
Do not come here!! I came in for a fill in an the lady that did mine was talking to the other technicians not paying attention to my nails at all! She cut my cuticle with the drill and she kept drilling afterwards. Then she had the acrylic all on my cuticle, I thought she would shape it but she barely use the nail file to shape. The top coat was cheap, my top coat after three days was a brownish color and it made my nails look dull. After that disaster I still wanted a wax and the lady pull skin off bc she kept going over the same spot I didn't realize bc I was on a time crunch. The next day I had a big scab on my face and it was just a horrible experience overall!! These technicians do not pay attention to detail and I think bc of the area people of color do not get good service, I still tip but I regret it after. I had to search to find review listings bc I want to warn the next person!
