Dynasty Nail and Spa in West Monroe, LA

I have never walked out of a nail salon with shorter nails than I walked in with.  I've been here multiple times, several years ago, for pedicures.  Decided to get my fingernails done, along with my toes, for an upcoming vacation and it had been awhile since I've been able to have my fingernails done.  My first impression of being back here is that they need to replace their chairs and clean.  I was told it would be a 10 minute wait.  It was more like 30 until they got to me and I was there over 2.5 hours. I didn't really want to stay but we were already there and, well, we just stayed. It ask for only my toenails to be done.  I didn't want to spend money on a pedicure because my feet didn't need it.  One was done, anyway.  I chalked it up as maybe she didn't hear me well and it was relaxing, so I just let her continue.  She did a great job and was very friendly.  Then, Tony's brother took me back to the back table for my fingernails.  I wanted a acrylic nails with a french manicure.  He didn't know how to do that and he walked back and forth to the front a couple of times, exchanged words with Tony, came back and mumbled something about being tired of all the drama, walked back to the front to get another customer and brought her back to sit where I was sitting and asked me to wait because he didn't know how to do the "pink and white".  I said okay.  Another lady there who was very nice, asked me to wait for Tony because it would take her a long time and he could get me done in 30 minutes.  I said okay and sat down and waited for him to finish another customer's nails.  When it was my turn, I told him what I wanted and that I wanted my nails short, not long.  (Thinking he would put glue the white tips on and cut and file them to the length I wanted).  He rushed, knicking and burning several of my finger tips.  There were no white tips glued on.  He merely painted the white on and when I asked about gluing the white tips on, he said I would like this better and it would be perfect and last longer.  I've never NOT had white tips glued on the ends of my nails.  I asked twice about it but he brushed me off saying it would be perfect and I would like it.  He squared my nails and I then let him know I wanted them rounded not squared and he fixed that.  I apologized because I should have let him know not to square them before hand. Then he filed them down (my own nails with the pink and white now on them).  I wanted nails and walked out with shorter nails than I walked in with and that's really saying something because my nails were already short because they won't grow long.  They are so short that they feel odd to me and my finger tip pads are all sore from him trying to file down nails that were so short that he was filing and grinding my skin.  (So much so that I jerked my hand at least twice from the pain).  He is very nice.  Don't get me wrong.  But, when I pay for something, I want what I pay for.  Had I wanted my own nails, I would have just let them paint them and be done with it and saved my money.  I've thought about going to another salon who used to do them years ago and have them take this off and do them the right way, but I've already spent a total of 95.00 at this salon and don't want to be out more money before vacation this coming weekend.  I'm so disappointed in my fingernails and there is nothing worse than paying for something and being this disappointed.  I know Tony is the most experienced person there and possibly even the owner.  He may normally be good, but I will never go back!  All of my fingertips are sore and one is cut.  The place is dirty.  It doesn't look like they clean the tables where they do the nails, or some of the equipment.  I'm hoping I don't end up with an infection.

I called. No wait. He was very friendly & gentle & removed several ingrown nails. Easy conversation & a Christian!

In town for work and really needing a manicure, I started reading reviews and found Dynasty to have some of the best. It was the best choice I could have made.  Tab was fabulous!!  He took his time to help me find the color I was looking for and I could not have been happier with the results.  Its always a hit or miss when you're a stranger in town but this was truly a hit!
I highly recommend this salon.

I went in no appointment. Aside from it being  a weekend and steady I was in and out. Tony was the best nail tech I encountered!!! He definitely made me feel comfortable.

I was taken right away with no appointment. The employees were very polite and my service was fast but not rushed! My nails looked great!
