Dudley Beauty Center & Spa in Greensboro, NC

I appreciate the staff's patience with my family member who suffers from dementia. Very friendly when walking in the door and took our temperature. Unfortunately the visit goes down hill from there...the appointments for all three of us took over 3 hours and for me I expected that but for my other two family members who were getting haircuts on short natural hair and washes seems excessive. Really disappointed that the "home of the roller set" had no clue on how to curl my hair. After sitting under the dryer for 2 hours and paying over $70 for a simple style, my hair has a film of stickiness and white flaky product and no curl definition at all. Total waste of time and money.

I'm amazed there are not more reviews on this salon...I've been coming here for almost 2 years and I love it ! The ladies are very friendly always laughing and joking feels warm and inviting..Miss Clastine is the best my hair was damaged and breaking off,  I was disappointed and disgusted but after weeks of coming regularly she whipped it back into shape with shampooing conditioning and treatments NEVER breaking the bank ! For years I tried to take care of my daughters and my hair by myself. I am not a trained professional so that was hit or miss. In the last 6 months I have been trying out different places and Dudley Beauty Center is always my ace in the hole. When I call they are always able to fit me in within reason. Mine and my daughters hair always looks great and last. I'm still trying out different places to get the sew-in styles I want or a braiding style. But the customer service at other places and the atmosphere never lives up to Dudley

I went on 12/28... great costumer service. I was the first client for the day. I was greeted as soon as I walked in... once entered into the system, I was taken straight back to get my hair washed. Dorris is great... I got my hair rolled and she pulled it extremely tight when rolling-definitely helped to get my roots straight! They ask you which roller size you prefer.
I would definitely go back. Be aware, of your hair is natural or past your shoulders, you will Be charged more... so be aware ...normal wash/roll is $10-mine was more of course but I had already figured this would be the case. What a deal! However the prices are listed on a paper that's taped at the counter and they tell you up front the amount you will be charged before you go back.
The only reason for 4 stars, had nothing to do with Dorris or the customer service... it was cold in there... obviously it was cold outside as well... but turning on the heat before opening for all  customers would be nice. Also know that if you get your hair styled, it's an additional fee. For the normal price, they only remove the rollers and you style it yourself!
Overall a great deal... and highly recommended! Thanks Dorris for the great roll and thanks Dudley's for great customer service!
