Dolce Lusso Salon and Spa in Myrtle Beach, SC

Dani  is amazing. She's very gentle and she's a professional. She knows a lot about hair color and hair health. It is really important to find someone with experience when having your hair colored and cut.
I have already made my second appointment with her. She was awesome. !!!!

Dolce Lusso not only has the best stylist in the world, Tony, but also some of the best receptionists in Myrtle Beach. They always greet me and set expectations on my wait. They also offer a beverage and are generally extremely polite. I witnessed Amanda graciously and professionally handle a ver difficult customer today. She is some who should be recognized for the amazing job she does.

Went to salon and have used Aveda salons regularly so I expected this one to be great as well.  I asked for regular foil  highlights and was given a popular "hombre " style at the time instead.  Was mortified!  Then the 2 "pro" stylists which were going to fix it, turned my hair an ugly orange -red ALL OVER.  Git nowhere with staff or owner so I sued and WON in court.  This happened over many appointments so DO NOT ever feel like you cannot do anything about appointments that go wrong!  Was going to put it in Sun News but manager didn't want to be sued by owner.  Never think because you are in a high-end salon that you cannot fight back.  Real shame it took all that time and effort just to get my money back!!

I purchased a gift certificate that was supposed to be delivered by e-mail on a certain date. Nothing was delivered and the person was disappointed in me for forgetting her special day. Thanks, Dolce Lusso, for coming through. You ruined a special day.

Had a terrible experience at the Market Common salon beginning with stylist Susan White putting drastic high & low lights in my daughter's hair, then charging her $300 on top of it. It looked absolutely awful. Requested a refund, however that particular salon begged us for a chance to correct it. Had a consultation with "senior stylist" Dustin Putnam, & booked for a correction color the next day. However, had to reschedule due to work commitment. Salon gave his first available appointment nearly 3 weeks later!  ONE HOUR prior to that appointment, the salon called to say they would have to CHARGE us for this appointment because the appointment was so far past the original appointment date. I told them this was the first available date THEY gave US!  They refused to budge & I immediately demanded a FULL REFUND!  

The staff at the Market Common location was rude, argumentative & completely unwilling to compromise.  They just stated they would need to contact their owner, Bob, who was at a different location in NC, & would call me back later.

I researched & found the owners, Bob & Christy DeLong. I began calling the other locations in NC  to personally speak with the owners myself.  I spoke to a lovely, empathetic, helpful lady named Anna at the Park Road salon, who asked me to send her an email & attached picture of my daughter's hair & she would forward to Mr DeLong. She stated they would try to assist from their location as much as possible. Their manager Realynn replied that they forwarded my email to the owner & Mr DeLong would be in contact with me shortly. Sure enough, he called me & long story short was very apologetic & issued a 100% refund to my daughter!

We cannot thank Mr DeLong & his employees Anna & Realynn from his Park Road location enough. They showed care & compassion, which we truly appreciated!  

I gave a 3 star rating as an average, 0 star to Market Common location only, & 5+ star rating to Mr DeLong, Anna & Realynn at the Park Road Salon!
