I haven't been this excited about my hair since I moved to Tn from So. Calif. I have gone through numerous hair stylist in the last 18 years with no luck. I ran into a young woman with great hair in Chico's and asked who her stylist is. Her answer was Sam Johnson in Design Studio in Johnson City! I had my first appt. with Sam a week ago and absolutely love my hair. It actually changed my image of myself. It had been so long since I had really felt like I looked great. Sam listened to what I wanted and we discussed what we would need to do to get me to that look. My cut, color, and highlights are just perfect! Sam nailed it! I'm so pleased and excited to finally find someone to style my hair specifically for me!!! I would give more than 5 stars if that was an option!

This salon SAVED. my hair. I had terrible bleach damage and very dead ends, but Sam worked his magic! I got a cut and dye to go back to my natural color and my hair has never felt healthier. It's so shiny and feels so healthy, it's like there was never any damage! all of the products used smelled great and the dye was totally natural. I will be coming back!! Thank you Sam!

I got my hair cut and colored here a few weeks ago, and I have never felt prettier! I wanted to dye my hair a dark reddish brown, but Sam advised me to go withe a chestnut color instead, and I'm so glad he did. My husband loves it, and even strangers stop me at the grocery store to tell me how pretty my hair is.

What's more, Sam and Jose treated me like an old friend even though we had just met for the first time. Another customer came in to have her hair done while I was waiting for the dye to set, and rather than completely ignore me to talk to the other customer, Sam introduced us to each other and soon we were all talking together like we'd known each other for years!

Getting my hair done at Design Studio wasn't just a good idea--it was also an uplifting and memorable experience. I will definitely be going back. Thanks, Sam and Jose!
