Deluxe Nails in Duncan, OK

I love this place. I'm new to the area, and this is definitely going to be my go to place. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the woman that did my pedicure but she did a wonderful job and was very gentle. Nice, relaxing chairs and ambience.

I have a mixed review about this place. I love coming here for basic nails. They are pretty fast and decently good with basic designs, patterns, and art. Don't ask to do anything crazy and this is your go 2 place. However, don't come here for a waxing! Much was missed and very rushed and not to mention very painful. Of course waxing isn't no painful but this place didn't apply pressure after ripping of the wax tape. Very painful.

I went in here earlier this month for the first time. I showed the nail tech what I wanted and they acted like it was do-able. (Simple narrow almond shape with French tip and a swirl as the design.
He was very nice and took his time on my nails but once he finished them to move onto the design... upon a closer look the shape was too fat and round, and the shade was much darker. When he attempted the design , he was obviously struggling with it. He said "I was liking it up until this point." It then felt like he was trying to rush the end result and wasn't really trying at all.. he asked if I liked it and I wanted to be honest and told him no. He then shaved the top coat off and told me the nail tech next to him could do it. Okay.. so I wait and I had to tell her I also didn't like the nail shape. She shaved off the top coat on all my nails to fix the shape and then attempted the design.. she couldn't get it right either. So I told her to just do a French tip on all the nails. It also felt like she was rushing to get my nails done although there wasn't anyone in the store and was very rough with me.. the end result and experience wasn't great but I still paid for them because I wanted to get out of there.. after an emotional week of a parent dying... I wanted to do something nice for myself and this was by far the most stressful time I've had at a nail salon. It took 2 hours to finally finish because I had to sit through two people attempting my nails who ,neither ,did a good job or give me  initially what I wanted.
I live out of state so I won't be going back here but I wouldn't go here again even if I lived close. Staff just seemed like they didn't care and was rushing around just to get to the next person to rush their appointment too?
I also believe if a paying customer comes in with a design they like and you , a nail tech, can't do it- just be honest. And it will save everyone's time, energy, and stress but i understand some people just out there to get money. Don't go here.

We were greeted quickly and asked to wait for our pedicures.  They were in the process of getting remodeled apparently as new chairs were being brought in while we were there, but the staff was taking care of people quickly.  They did a decent job, but they are very busy.  We will probably be back though.
