Daybreak Salon & Spa in Wyandotte, MI

It was my first experience at daybreak and it was amazing!! Went for a massage and will be going on a regular basis. Felt very comfortable there and the massage therapist was awesome!!

First time getting a Massage. The Girls were very friendly and explained everything very good. The Vibe was great. My Masseuse was extremely friendly and she did a great job. She got most of my knot out that was under my shoulder blade.

I scheduled an appointment for a massage. I thoroughly discussed with the lady that was going to be doing my massage how I really needed strong pressure. I explained in detail, that I need a lot of pressure. Explaining that I need the pressure to help with my back issues. She seemed to understand and agree. She started the massage and a few minutes in I had to let her know that I needed more pressure. After a few more minutes I, again, very nicely, told her that I need more pressure. She seemed to understand, and said ok, but barely increased the pressure. As I said, prior to when she started we had talked about how much pressure I need to help my back pain. If she knew she couldn't accommodate me, she should have said so and I would have been glad to reschedule. For a massage therapist, she knew what I needed, what I was paying, and should have let me know she couldn't accommodate me. After she finished I let the salon know on their website or yelp or whatever on line. They replied that the manager would be contacting me to make things right. This communication was all done on line. I eventually realized their claims of helping me were only to make them seem that they would rectify the issue in the reviews for others to see. After I didn't hear from them,like they said I would, I contacted them directly. They still made no attempts to do anything to make up for the extremely poor service I had received. This salon has been mine and my family's go to for massage gift certificates. I'm really disappointment of the results in how this was handled... or actually NOT HANDLED.

I am left speechless by the lack of accountability and professionalism by whoever runs the daybreak Facebook page and instagram page. I have left two comments on both with concerns about quality of nail services. My comments were deleted and I was then blocked. Going forward I will go out of my way to tell my associates to steer clear of this establishment. Attached are pictures of said nail work that I had concerns over.

Shayla always takes her time and cuts/styles my three kiddos and my hair wonderfully! The shop is clean and the woman working reception desk are very helpful. I also like being able to schedule appointments online.
