Day Spa & Nails in Round Rock, TX

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please spend more money somewhere else that is nicer. I've never seen such a dirty nail salon it needs to be checked by the health department. The nail tech kept adding things I never asked for (hot wax, sugar scrubs, oil, etc). This is also the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. On top of all this, she cut me and didn't do anything about it. Please go somewhere else.

I would give no stars if I could but I have to choose 1. My friend took me here for my birthday to get a pedicure. She said this was her salon and they do a good job. I was expecting a great experience since she goes here all the time. Boy was I mistaken. I asked for a trim and only one nail got trimmed. One of my legs/foot received an entirely different experience than my other. There was very little massaging which is my favorite part. They asked us to pick a scent. We both picked one but then they came back with green tea. We both said that was not what we picked and we were kind of bullied into taking the green tea scent because they had several of that scent. Why ask if you're going to pick for me? The nail polish was old and the lady had to use nail polish remover to even open the bottle! At that point she should have asked me to pick something else. Not impressed. Next time I will take my friend to my salon. Organic Nails in the Arboretum is much better!

Well, considering this was supposed to be a treat to myself I actually feel worse about getting a pedicure. The entire ordeal felt rushed and lacked enthusiasm or any care in the world. I asked for a glass of wine and never once got it, even after she asked if I wanted red or white. Once the "massage" was over I noticed she was starting to paint my toenails, which was strange considering I NEVER once looked at colors or picked one out. She just assumed I wanted white toenails and painted them. I could've said something but at this point it was obvious she didn't care about the work so to just hurry along the process and get home I let it happen. Super upset that I even spent money here. I'm new to the area and thought I would give this place a try since it's so close to my house! If you zoom is you can see how horribly they were painted too!!

I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs and to pay a bit more for a nail salon that won' leave you dissatisfied or with a rash. To start off with the lady doing my nails didn't seem to care about what she was doing and only seemed to be trying to get things done quickly to talk with the rest of the group. She messed up once and nearly left it like that until I mentioned you could still see my nail under it. She of course fixed it but seemed upset to do so and made my ring finger worse. The job is overall patchy and wreck less. If I wanted my nails to look like I did them at home, I would have done that on not wasted my time. Not only that but upon leaving I noticed rash that I did not have prior to entering has not developed. This is either due to uncertified product being used or Unsanitary conditions. Again, I would recommend avoiding this place. It's certainly not worth your nails looking like a DIY project or catching some type of bacterial infection due to their wreck less business dealings.

This is rather sad. I've been coming here for about six months now and it's been fantastic so far. I generally get a dip powder nail but once you get that you have to commit to the color. This visit I just wanted natural nails because I have two events coming up and I want to paint the nail without a permanent color or getting a new set. When I told them they still tried to hassle me into a dip because of random reasons and I said no and reiterated my reason. She did my nails with old acrylic and they were white. She harshly buffed it off and found some better. Slapped it on and said wash. Good thing I know what to do. Washed my hands and sat in the chair. She looked at me like your done. Said what's wrong? Another tech had to tell her to shine my nails. So really you thought I wanted unfinished nails. I was going to come back during the week to get my nails painted but I will go somewhere else. Generally once they do the top coat you get a nice arm massage and a cuticle treatment...I got nothing. She walked in the back as I waited for the horrible top coat to dry. If I wasn't a nice person I would've walk out without paying. But I told another tech I was finish and ready to pay. I like them because of the distance from my house and my Sunday routine to get a fill and touch up but now I'm going to go back to my original nail salon and make that 10 minute drive. I'm not returning. The experience today was just unbelievable. It was like my basic request for a natural nail was beneath them. At least try to make natural nails look pretty. Sorry not sorry I didn't want a color or dip. I have a feeling that the salon I pick to paint my nails will redo my nails because of this horrible job. Lost a customer today!!!!
