Davi Nails Salon in Charlotte, NC

I received a gift certificate for a pedicure. The technician drew a cold water foot bath, and worked silently, never looking at me. I had to pull my foot away several times because the way she used the metal cuticle tool. Two of my nails are rough and jagged, One of them tore into the nail bed and the other is painful, like an ingrown toenail. When I returned to the salon to complain, the "manager" glanced at my foot from a distance and said I had no problem. "Foot looks good." She refused to look closer at the rough nails.
I saw a physical therapist a couple days later and she commented on the roughness of the nails. I am watching the sore nail to be sure that I don't get an infection, and will go to a podiatrist office for a better pedicure that won't hurt me.

My last visit was Saturday, now is Tuesday and the polish is already chipped 3/4 polish is gone from two nails. I went today and was just going to have them do polish change and she began telling me she would have to do a full acrylic removal and start over after glancing at my nails from 10 ft away. Telling me that the grow out wouldn't look right if she painted the nails again. 3 days of growth? I told her she had just done them on Saturday and she started yelling at me that I had never been to the salon before and she has never seen me.
I could have come in mad about the chipped polish and asking for free touch up or free services but I didn't I was going to take the opportunity to change the nail color and design from Saturday. When someone comes in, a regular every 3 weeks; pedi and mani with overlay and polish, do not try and force them into an expensive and damaging process of full acrylic removal when all I'm asking for is polish change.

Horrible, Horrible customer service when it's time to resolve an issue. I visited this location on Monday because my frequent location closed at 7pm and I needed immediate attention to my nails before going into work the next morning. I took a chance to stop at Davi nails inside the Walmart because I knew they had later hours. The nail tech was very nice and assisted me right away. I received a gel white polish change no manicure. My daughter picked out the white polish, I was excited to try something new. Service was completed, I was absolutely in love with the finish touch and as my expectation I would be good for at least a week maybe 2, until the next polish change. Little did I know all would go south. Within about 15hrs 1 nail had lifted polish and chipped, I did absolutely nothing to cause this. As soon as I gotten off of work, I drove right there in disbelief, but hey life is not perfect so, no sweat and they fixed the nail. The nail tech and myself both noticed the nail polish looked skeptical, the other nails looked like it could possibly lift too.... she coated the other nails with a clear polish and sent me on my way. I was sure things would be good because she appeared to seal it, I was satisfied..... literally 2 hrs later another nail lifted and peeled on its own! WTH I never experienced anything like this before. I should've suspected something when a lady came in during my service and complained about the same situation. It was only $20 plus tip, but the principal behind this whole thing is customer satisfaction. My family and I purchased movie tickets for an evening show. I begged them we had to go back to the nail salon before they closed same day because another nail lifted. Within hrs this was a 2nd time returning same day.I wanted a refund for the poor nail job I received. The owner was very rude, condescending, and didn't show any concern for my issue. She offered to redo the nail job, but I've already went down that road and I had the same issue. There was no sign that posted no refunds. I'm not a person who gets rowdy,my calm character was getting no kind of response, and it was extremely frustrating that the business showed a lack of integrity. I showed how easily it lifted and a whole paint came off of my thumb. Clearly they know it was wrong, and showed no willingness to help. I asked for a gift certificate since they would not refund me for the horrible paint job, the owner finally wanted me out of her establishment and wrote one up...... I gave it to the next patron walking in for service. I would never spend my hard earned money in there, and I don't think the next person should either. The lesson learned for me is quality over quantity and when you have something good no matter what you stick with it. Got a fresh gel set today from my normal spot and I'm looking forward to enjoying it longer than a day!

Anytime the owner will post a message about a customers post as fake ans wrong is a red flag.  I have experienced the same thing, where a few of the older nail techs talk about the customers feet or show signs of disgust. Its your job, and if they do not want to do it then why show up.  I think we all should learn how to stop going to this nail shops that are sub -par and they will then get the message.I too had my nails done there, (S&S) and in less than 4 days they were coming off and looking horrible. Same with my pedicure. Get the younger girls to assist you if you can or do not go all together her. They have changed management and it has really gone down hill.

Terrible customer service and horrible job. They will try to  drill away your entire cuticle and skin to where it burns your finger. Another lady in the shop same time as me came to get her eyebrows waxed they took off almost half of the front then blamed her and said she came in like that. Poor girl walked out crying and still paid. They didn't care they just laughed and started to speak in their own language.  Quoted me one price then when it was time to pay she said oh I'm sorry it's actually 20 more once they had my card in their hand.  A fill in with gel polish should not have been $53. Will never go back and suggest you don't either. I was wondering why every time I went to Walmart they never had anyone in there.
