Sorry but not so good work from David. Not even a week has passed and my gel manicure has already chipped. The nail polish went past my cuticle which is causing all my nails to chip from the bottom. I still tipped him but I do not recommend gel manicures from David.

I really like this little family owned shop in Watsonville. I can typically get a walk in appointment for gel mani or pedi or fill. Everyone whom I have randomly got to do my nails has been very thorough with the tidy and trim aspect of my nails. I've never been cut or had them sand down too far on the nail bed. Today I called in the morning to get a same day appointment for a full acrylic set with nail art and they were very accommodating. I asked to be scheduled with anyone who did great nail art or who liked doing it. I got Trish. I showed her a photo and explained what I liked about it and she said we will do something similar. But she totally Nailed it (pun intended)! The acrylic is just on my natural nail so they are short per my request and the acrylic is so thin! Especially considering there is gel on top and a design. I don't think she baked my hands under the light more than necessary which I have had done in other shops. It's chill in there. You get the vibe that it's mostly regulars and not a lot of disgruntled workers. My new go to... love that it's in Watsonville. Also ample parking.
I was traveling and need to get a manicure. I called and made an appt for 3pm. I showed up for my appt and the girl working on me was so short with me and did not understand anything I asked her to do. She did a horrible job and I had to have her re paint 2 nails. Finally just left and by 9pm my nail polish was literally peeling off. I called and said I was going to stop in at 4 today for them to repaint. The head lady was rude blamed me for wrecking my nails and said she couldn't take me until 3pm tomorrow. Honestly, if there was another nail place near me I would just go and pay to have them painted again but there isn't so I have to go back tomorrow and deal with them
