D. Sabrina Salon in Fairfield, CT

I have now completed 1 year with Mia as my stylist and the entire experience is more than 5 scissors! My only difficulty in writing this review is that it could result in challenges to reserve an appointment with Mia at D Sabrina Salon!

I have been getting haircuts ranging from salons of the "highest" level as well as above-average salons.  I found Mia in the best marketing method possible.  I walked up to a lady and commented about her curls.  It began there.  I asked way too many questions to a stranger who was gracious and honest.  Before making an appointment with Mia, I then performed an enormous amount of due diligence re this stylist and salon.  

The following is all proven/true.  Dealing with Mia before and during was easy, helpful and clear (ie, expectations of the first appointment and process for each subsequent appointment).  Her haircuts are exactly as you read.  She studies your hair each time.  She shampoos/conditions your hair.  She spends a lot of time working to "structure" (cut/trim/etc) your hair.  She washes your hair again.  She then spends much time prepping your hair for drying.  She works exactly in the way she coaches you for product application.  She then styles and follows up with any changes to ensure your curls are healthy, defined and long lasting!  

Mia has provided a very unique personal touch and undoubtedly the BEST of "hair structuring" and "hair coaching" experiences.  Mia is friendly and helpful and cordial in explaining the entire process.  She describes each step and provides the background.  
The effort and impression from Mia has allowed me to have fantastic experiences that may not have otherwise stood out from the many of my other hair appointments.

I would like to reiterate again how fantastic Mia is.  She has been truly instrumental in ensuring that the experience is fantastic each time and in ensuring that I inform others.

I am a meticulous researcher, reviewer and overall detailed oriented individual.  The results of my review/due diligence were exceeded in each hair appointment.  I have been stopped and asked and clearly have no problem recommending Mia to anyone looking to actually get a real "hair structuring" experience for curly hair.  

Extraordinary customer service is not easy these days. Mia represents that. I do not know how often, if at all, you write/read this type of positive review but again please know Mia has made the experiences so exceptional that it was a pleasure writing this.

Mia rocks! My first appointment with her lasted almost 3 hours. She's a curly girls dream hair stylist. She sits with you first to assess your hair, she washes it, she styles it.... She takes you through from beginning to end. She is a joy!! Plus I got a great cut! I already made my next appointment.

I've been a client here for almost 5 years. Mia is amazing. She cuts and colors my hair and I'll never go to anyone else! I used to force my naturally wavy hair straight, but Mia showed me how to handle my curls. She gave me a great cut that enhances my curls and she showed me which products to use. Before her, I literally tried every product known to man but still had frizzy hair :( love love love going to this salon!
