My friend recommended this place and I had one once prior to this weekend. The young lady I got last year who cut my hair did a great job for $18 before tip. I was happy with it. When I went this weekend, she wasn't there and may no longer work there so I got an older Chinese lady. I'm not unhappy with my hair cut but I'm not satisfied either. I was glad she accommodated me on such short notice and the wait wasn't long. However, she didn't check to make sure all of my hair was even. I didn't get anything complicated, just a simple hair cut. Everyone who I've gone to for hair cuts makes sure both sides are even by checking from the front to make sure it's the same length. So you can definitely tell my right and left sides are not even. The price was increased to $20 before tip for long hair. I'm not sure if I'll come back, but for the price can't really complain. I just tell myself that at least hair grows so in about 6 months it won't be too noticeable.

I came here for almost 15 years. Yes their price is very cheap...and fast. when I come here, i usually find danny to help me. well what should I say. I don't know if his skills really suck or he is just lack the motivation / being lazy or he just take advantage of old customers but he's getting worse and worse. What I mean is, he tries to cut it all fast and when I bring up something or wants him to adjust something, he will start getting annoyed. His half-ass effort or half-ass skills just got on to me now. I understand you get what you pay for and when you pay $8 for a haircut then you shouldn't expect too much but hey, im a guy and I usually go for a more traditional Asian American hair cut that's as simple as it can be ( level 0, both sides and back and top just help me trim a bit ). Usually what i get is unbalance sides or not finished back. If he can't even satisfy his customer with it and if he gets lazy or he can't do his job right then he will 1) lose his long time loyal customer 2) will never recommend anyone to this store ( I have recommend a few people before 3) I'll share my personal bad experience to people in 626. You can see, people that come here are usually elder people or 40s+ which they have low / no expectations and they are not social media friendly so obviously not alot of people will know or leave bad feedback with this store but...well they will get bad reviews more now. I will rather take my simple hair to a salon that cost me $20/30+ than coming here again! PS i really dont want to leave them a 1 star because that's the required but If i can i would leave them a 0 star. They are that bad.

Danny is insane. Got the haircut done in less than 10 minutes and it was quite possibly one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. Very attentive to detail.
