Crystal Nails in Coldwater, MI

i have never gotten my nails done and after going here idk if i want to deal with going to other nail salons again bc of this experience (my memory is also fuzzy from this btw). I got sat down, the worker put the fake nails on (whatever its called) and she pointed to the nail colors that are all on a keychain so that i can choose my nail color. again, i have never had fake nails before so it felt weird grabbing things and i struggled to grab the keychain thing for a minute or 2 while the worker was preparing something, then out of no where she rudely snatched the nail color keychain and put it in my hand. i was shocked by how she handled the situation instead of being nicer by saying something like "do u need help?" there is some sort of language barrier because most of the workers were asian, talking amongst each other in their language, but a language barrier doesn't mean u can't be nice. skip all the way to the end bc all i did was choose the most boring color white and the shortest nails possible, when we were done all she said was "$50" and walked away. i wasnt paying i was there with my friend. now a week later i was explaining this to some friends and they were like "$50 for that? they didnt even push back ur cuticles" and stuff like thag so ig i got ripped off but idek

I asked for a standard manicure & I was told it would be $40. I questioned the price because the POSTED price for a manicure is $20. He said that price didn't included polish - which was obviously false. When I pressed him again he finally said it would be $30 because he had to take my old polish off. It is a dishonest business - I will never return.

I have been going to the salon for over 20 years ! They have always done a fantastic job and I've always treated me like family ! When I have worked out of the area and have gone other places I have never been satisfied and have always always come back as the quality of service just doesn't add up to what I receive at Crystal Nails . The owners and staff are the best at what they do

They charged me $75 for a set of nails and they were not even that good. There a joke

The only reason I am providing one star is because they did fix my nail. However, from the moment I came in both the technicians who were there acted as if I was below them, speaking to me as if I was a burden. I asked for a fix because a nail had broken (not put on from this salon) and the others were still fine. They said cash only, I said ok at sat down. Let me say at the time I walked in, no one was waiting and they each has someone. I was willing to wait because I understand appointments, but this was uncalled for. My problem was more than the way they spoke to a customer. In addition to their poor communication skills the lady that fixed my nail said "I will put it on and you paint it!" . I had obre white and a light pink, I go to a nail salon for a reason. Moreover, she did not prep my nail before applying the acrylic and I shaped it myself. Then as she came back I said do you mind putting some white on the top and she was completely rude and disrespectful saying "I told you, I will Only put the nail on!" At the end she did end up putting some pink, then as she walked away said 10 dollars. I have a few suggestions to you guys. #1- if you're too overwhelmed please refuse to serve the customer (nicely), what you did was uncalled for and completely disrespectful. #2- Do not be rude and assume that bc the nails were not done to your standard that the customer did their nails on their own, therefore telling them to paint their own nail. I was shocked!!! And #3- take pride in your business, show people that you genuinely care about what you do because at the end of the day you're a service with paying customers. I was appalled by this nail salon and I hope and pray anyone who goes has a better experience. Do BETTER and I pray people treat you with more respect then I got here!
