Went today to get my hair done and had Pam. She was great! So sweet and easy to talk to and did a great job on my hair she cut and styled it well and highlighted my hair so well! Jim was also very welcoming, gave me a great cup of coffee and was very encouraging.
IVA IVA IVA!!!!! She is the best! She is a no nonsense kind of lady and I love her for this! She is very skilled and always striving to work with you! She is skilled with curly hair which she has herself and good at avoiding the dreadful yellow or orange blonde. Not only that but she is a great human...which is kind of important to me when I am stuck in a space with someone for a while. Beyond that, Changes as a salon is super clean, super covid safe, not pretentious, affordable and a comfortable place that I comes back to very 6-8 weeks. Been doing that for almost 3 years. If you look at my past reviews, I am a picky gal but have nothing but good here!
I am not sure if I am satisfied with my first hair cut at Changes Salon & Day. What I learn through this experience was it is never a good sign when the staff firmly recommending another hairdresser against my initial request, which was to see a senior level hairdresser for reasons. I should have stick with a gut instinct.
Went to Changes for the first time this week and enjoyed the experience very much. Iva was wonderful explaining each each step what products she was using and why. My hair looked and felt great when I left the salon.
