CG Salon, was an amazing experience. Me and my husband go to get pampered. Annie, Gwen, Michelle, and ofcourse Chel do an amazing job. The atmosphere is great, we feel at home. A variety of services, in a fun environment.
My daughter went to this place multiple times and each time had a poor experience. The experience was so awful, I feel it's necessary to say beware of this place. 1) They lightened her hair which resulted in breaking off a chunks of her hair. 2) On a separate visit. They clearly had a new girl working on her hair who cut it way too short. Another technician had to come teach her how to cut her hair. She came home in tears. 3) The conversation by the technicians is extremely inappropriate. One of the technicians carried on a conversation with a client about her friend who was r***ed and basically victim shaming her "friend". You don't know what people have gone through in their lives and what could be triggering, so you really should watch what you say in a setting like this and conduct business with some professionalism.
Like so many others, I'm very intimidated by visiting a salon. To me it's usually like a sorority sister club that I'm not a member of. Not the case with CG Salon! I actually felt quite welcome and the experience was incredible. I went in for a color and highlights. The end result makes me happier with my hair than I've been in years. Thank you Gweyn for your vision, execution, and overall joyfulness in doing a job well done! Very much needed and much appreciated!
