I was thrilled to find this place and so close to home. I never have to worry with Shawn. He always does exactly what I ask, checks in to make sure the cut is ok at each step and is extremely kind and professional. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

The color is what I asked for (strawberry blonde) The roots look more blotchy than I expected, I wish I got it all the way to the scalp. Shawn is a nice guy and he offered me water a few times throughout the appointment! But I wouldn't come back for a coloring here. He brushed my hair when he was bleaching it which feels like a no no but maybe it's because it was ammonia free bleach (which seemed very powdery) And the brushing was very rough throughout the apportionment. I can't say I love it and I think it was very overpriced. He did refund 40 for getting bleach on my dress (which I haven't received yet) but disappointed :/ $360 for this appointment, wish I got more money back. At least my fiancé likes it also afterwards my hair was very shiny and soft at least Warning if you are afraid of birds, there is an open cage of 2 cute birds! The birds and fish were really cool/cute!

I had multiple services done and paid a fortune for them - $600+. Brazilian Blowout, color, highlights and a cut. I had 2 things I specified -No red in my hair because I don't like how it looks with my skin - Sean agreed, and I wanted him to cut some side bangs as part of my hair cut. Well, my hair is red and I didn't get any bangs. I love the straightening, it's exactly what I was hoping for, but the color of my hair and my highlights are really disappointing. When he finished cutting my hair I pointed out to him that I didn't have bangs. He said 'Oh they'll be fine after you wash it'. I said I don't think so, and I got out a picture and showed him what I wanted. He would not do it insisting that it would be fine after I styled it. They weren't. Also after washing my hair - he had left the BB straightener in with instructions to rinse it out at 9 that night - I was appalled to see red roots glowing at me. 2 days later I watched a Youtube video and cut my own side bangs. I ordered a green toner to counteract the red - but it didn't do much. So here I am, 2 weeks before my sons wedding with hair I don't like and I'm going to go to a new hairdresser that has been highly recommended to fix my color and bangs. Sure wish you could get a refund on personal services when they don't deliver as promised. He offers $5 off for giving 5 star reviews on google. Apparently people are willing to sell their review cheap - $5 off my $600+ bill isn't going to sway me. I feel super ripped off and the only reason I was willing to part with so much $'s was my once in a lifetime mother of the groom gig.

Been to this salon on several occasions, Sean does a great job and takes time to make sure you look your best. The seating arrangement is small and it gets rather packed at times. Walk-in appointments can cause your scheduled time to get pushed back a bit. The price and service make up for it as this is a great place to get a nice haircut from layers, highlights,tapered fades, buzz-cuts or a dye and blowout. My boys received amazing haircuts at Savaya! If you want a barber that really knows his stuff go check them out. I can't say enough about how welcome and comfortable we felt there.
