I have been getting my fades from Cecy's salon for the past 5 years. I am a satisfied customer. Due to Covid it is highly recommended that you book your appointment in advance for the best time slots that fit your schedule. They are a great private business that looks to offer you a great service. I highly recommend Cecy's Salon!
Beyond disappointed. Wasted my money. Couldn't find the salon, I called for directions and nobody spoke English. This should have been my first clue it might not have been a good idea. I wouldn't recommend this salon.
It is true they offered to redo them however I did not call back I went to another salon and had them redone. I was not happy with the extensions so it wouldn't have made any sense to loosen them. I did expect more of your salon by what I read which is why I came there. One thing I didn't expect is that you would purchase the hair at Sally Beauty Supply. Even the public could purchase that there. There is a lot of care with extensions and I wasn't provided with that education either. You can post the pictures however they don't show everything. To anyone wanting extensions I would suggest not to let anyone use a weft with the micro rings to attach it. Within less than a week it was coming loose in places and some were so tight they left red welts on my scalp. That's just my personal opinion and an expensive lesson. Not trying to bash anyone just help someone from possibly making the same mistake as I did.
I had Cecy do my hair and make-up for a "trial" run for my wedding and both turned out amazing. She is going to be able to travel to do my hair and make up for my destination wedding and she'll be doing some of my bridesmaids hair too. I would highly recommend this salon!
One of those "hidden gems" that more people need to visit and/or discover. This place is located behind a shopping center off Gallaher and Kingston Pike.
Cecys Salon and Photo Studio has a great vibe with a separate waiting room that included complimentary coffee and bottled water. You don't need to make an appointment but it highly recommended that you do make one.
The owners were great and extremely friendly, their have a great skill-set in what they do whether it is photography or simply cutting hair, they definitely pay attention to detail.
I am looking forward for my next visit and hair cut.
