This salon has been in business for years. Their new address is 216 Crown Street and that location is amazing I just love love the entire setup the different sections or areas or rooms. The old address had nothing on this location and as always beautiful decorated they are all welcome from Alex to Renee shout out to CAPTURE SALON and your team. Look at these beautiful space. I just got a wonderful cut here. I went in asking for a really basic cut with room for the stylist to interpret it ("long bob with layers and bangs") and would have been happy with almost anything. I walked out with the prettiest haircut I have ever had and I am so very happy. If you have thick hair, ask for Samantha.
First I want to say, what a Beautiful and Clean Salon, with the nicest lady's working!!! Everyone with a smile and so pleasant to be around!!! One of the Salons best picks is Valerie, she is an absolute Doll, who is full of knowledge and an absolute Professional in taking the Best care of her clients!!! Between her delicate handling of a manicure and pedicure, she is such a perfectionist!!! Her skills behind the Chair doing hair is Out of bounds as she is truly an Amazing Colorist and Stylist!!! You will love your experience here, make sure to ask for Valerie and have a day of beauty and relaxation!!!
$70 to have my hair totally destroyed. I went in for a haircut (stylist's name was Ann--know to avoid her). I showed her specific photos to indicate the length I was looking for. She began cutting and when I looked up from my phone--within a matter of seconds--I found much of my hair had been chopped completely off. I said "wow its a bit short," but didn't pursue it much further in the moment (because what's the point, the hair is not coming back). All I could do was be very diligent and to, in effect, micromanage the remainder of the session--which isn't something I normally do, but the trust had been totally eroded.
I called the manager to let her know of my experience: I had my hair cut for a special occasion--to walk in my PhD ceremony--only to have it chopped OFF. I offered to show her reference photos versus what I had ended up with. To no avail. She refused to issue a refund. She also didn't inquire about the name of the stylist to look into things. What she offered instead was to cut my hair, free of charge, next time I came in. She said, in a tone that was both haughty and smug "I do NOT give refunds. I don't do that." But coming for a free haircut 2 months from now doesn't do me much good. The damage is done. My graduation photos are ruined.
I really enjoyed my experience at Capture Salon. The atmosphere is beautiful! Toni did my hair exactly how I wanted it, she was an absolute doll, and I would recommend this salon to friends and family. I will definitely be going back.
