Cadillac Nails in Cadillac, MI

I went to Cadillac Nails for a shellac pedicure prior to my trip. The young man who did my pedicure rushed through the entire process, didn't tend to the small calluses and painted my nails that looked like my middle school niece did them. When he asked if I liked my pedicure I told him I did not and mentioned the poor polish application. He just shrugged and said it was done. When I questioned if it was acceptable, he again shrugged. Very disappointing. I'll never go back.

I spent time here with women in my bridal party the day before my wedding for a pedicure and a full dip set. They were gentle on my sensitive feet and nailbeds and took their time to make my nails beautiful and exactly what I asked for. I'll definitely come here again when I come back to Cadillac.

I have used Cadillac Nails several times but the last experience left me cold. I have never written a review before but I feel compelled to now. I had a manicure 5 days before Easter. Three days after the manicure, two nails peeled off in full. I went and had them repaired. Two days after that, the rest started peeling off the others so I just peeled them all off, too easily, and put them in a baggie to show them. I made a 2:00 p.m. appointment but they left me waiting a half hour (Why make an appointment?) before they assigned me to someone. The manger glanced but didn't bother to look at my nails nor those in the baggie, and he said he would give me another manicure 40% off. Fine but when I went to check out, only 20% was taken off, by him. I believe he knew full well he offered 40%. I left there feeling betrayed and slimy. I will not go back and I hope after reading this, your choice of salons will be more successful.

I have gone to this salon every month for a year or better. I always get white tip, dip and always keep my nails shorter, finger tip length. I got it done the last time and had 4 nails chip away within 24 hours and was unable to get back in. I set up a time, went and was told they couldn't do it as they had to many people waiting. So, nearly two weeks later I had time to go in again. By this time two more nails peeled off. So, I went in and decided to have everything redone from scratch. I sat down in chair 3, the lady played on her phone for many minutes while I waited. I did ask how long it would take to start, she said 5 minutes. I later asked again as it had been more than 5 minutes. She finally set her phone down to start, perhaps she was on break, but it seemed odd to sit in the chair and wait for her to stop scrolling her phone. I then explained I wanted a dip with white tip and even though they hadn't grown out a lot I'd still like them trimmed to fingertip length. She started, when she applied the first bit of white for the tip she asked if that was enough. I simply stated I thought maybe more because otherwise, once they were trimmed there wouldn't be much white. She got angry and said "cut down, you tell me before I start dip". I apologized and said I thought maybe she was going to do that last since they weren't needing much trimmed. She yelled something in their language to Allen, who got up and told me to sit in chair 4. I said "chair 4?" His reply was yes she does not want to take care of m you anymore. And then he proceeded to tell me I would have to wait for a couple people to be done before he could get to me. I was embarrassed, the lady sitting next to me looked surprised too. I was so surprised I did get up and sit and chair for for about three minutes while my nails were a wreck and then got up and told him that I would take my business elsewhere. I was absolutely astonished at the unprofessionalism and terrible customer service as I was being very polite with the whole situation. Never again will I go back, after unnecessarily being humiliated.
