This review is long overdue. I was looking for a straightening treatment for a couple months now that the Brazilian is so expensive and I got ahold of Vicki. She recommended the thermal fuse 450. She gave me very realistic expectations of the day of my appointment and how long it would last, etc. She also gave me great recommendations for hair coloring and hair care in general. Please do not let Vicky cut your hair if you want a hair cute more complicated then a trim. I went in with below shoulder length hair, wanted an A line, came out with a pixy cut. A line is one of the most common cuts, but she cut the shit out of the back of my head and then just left the sides long with no angle. I looked ridiculous so I had her cut it pixy, not even a good pixy cut. I had to go home and fix it.
Vicky is amazing, I went gray today in my highlights and added bangs.
She gets you in quick and does an amazing job in cutting and coloring hair, she lets you also know honestly what is possible and what isn't. Aka I can't go full gray with out destroying my hair. I also got a cut about a week ago and she didn't take off too much length.
The inside is nicely decorated and modern with lots of chairs to heat your hair. Great location in the middle of Minden, right off 395, by the court house and the new casino.
Debbie, is also great for nails, but watch out no peanuts!!! She is allergic. But she does great manicures and pedis.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality of services and friendliness of the staff. This shop is truly a Minden staple, my best friend and her family have been going here for years.
