BV NAILS & LOUNGE in Dewitt, NY

I would give a negative star review if I could. BV nails & lounge was my first terrible nail experience. While the place inside is beautiful and grand, the staff / manager cut corners behind the tables to make more profit for themselves, at the sacrifice of their client's hygiene. When I was at my nail appointment, I saw a staff member wipe acetone on her nail file in between clients - I didn't think anything of it at the time... but now I have a raging nail infection!! I work at a health care clinic and my provider confirmed this infection. I went back to the nail salon to get compensation aka my money back because now I have an infection and need to buy antibiotics!! I spoke with the manager at the salon, and he brushed me off completely and told me I had a skin issue! He thinks proceeded to tell me he couldn't do anything for me because 'the computer system is down' and he can't help me. He then picks up the phone and starts scheduling an appointment on the computer. What a disgusting reaction honestly. He told me I couldn't get a refund because 'no refund policy' and then 'the computers were down'. He kept ignoring / not talking to me by picking up the phone so I decided to go on their ipads they use for check in and found the refund policy... surprise surprise, I could absolutely get a refund according to their policy but the manager just didn't want to! I hope all the young girls I saw in the salon see this! Do not go there, you will get a nail infection or worse! Plenty of nail salons are stand-up and don't cut corners - BV nails & lounge has no values or ethics! I should have known to not go there based off of the reviews online, lesson learned.

I developed a nail fungus and i went back to BV nails on Erie blvd to have nail treated. I was advised to just get a new set and it will cover it up ( wronggggg) , then I was advised to soak my nail in warm water and vinegar( whattt) , no tools were cleaned or sanitized. Please be careful on proper nail care.

Went for a pedicure with my friend, I had Angela who was pushy about upgrading my services multiple times when I only wanted a regular pedicure. At the end, she asked how I was paying and I said with my card, she then asked if i was doing a cash tip which I said no to, and got a dirty look back after I said that (you are able to leave a tip with your card which wasn't the issue). I got home and after further inspection she did not paint the entirety of my toenails. Could've done a better job myself at home.

Idk where to start! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service! The lady cut my man's nails so short every finger was bleeding! She complimented his nails prior to the service and proceeded to damage every nail. I strongly suggest not coming to this location

I have been going to this salon since they opened. The service has gotten progressively worse. My nails are ragged and the polish is uneven. I requested a spa pedicure which includes a callus treatment. It was never done. The atmosphere is very uncomfortable. The technicians talk to each other more than they talk to the clients. Management is very rude. They are overpriced for the quality of service they provide. This was my last trip.
