this business pretty much stole my money that I should have never given them in the first place. I left with a botched haircut and the first thing the owner said to me when i told her i left the salon in tears was "i won't give you a refund." Over and over this woman, Kerry, reiterated that to me and was the farthest thing from sympathetic or kind about the situation, even though the stylist acknowledged that she messed it up. The stylist was kind and seemed to know what she was doing for the most part, it's truly the owner i have a problem with. She keeps offering to "fix" it, but my hair is already over 2 inches shorter than i wanted because she cut it, it was so choppy so she had to cut everything AGAIN to make it all the same length. "Fixing it" would make it way too short.

I decided to go through a hair makeover for my birthday and was so glad I found Brushed Roots and Natalie. I loved the way Natalie did my hair. I have rough and voluminous hair, and the way Natalie cut my hair made it more manageable, and I can also leave my hair open. I also did a hair treatment with my haircut, and I could feel my hair become soft. Natalie also gave me some helpful tips on how to manage my hair at home, and it is a game changer for me.

i'll give this salon two stars because my ends look decent and my hair looks healthy. i had my appointment with natalia, granted i need an appointment quickly and soon and this salon had the soonest availability. their prices seemed to be the most decent in the area. however, be aware of what you are purchasing online and ask how much they charging you before starting you haircut. i was under the impression that my haircut was going to be 65 as prepaid on the website, and i was expecting to pay at least 20 percent for the tip. i was not aware because we cut additional inches it would be considered a transformation haircut( only cut two inches more). my hair looks the same but shorter and the style she had put in my hair hasn't lasted past the day. i would have been okay with this charge if she was honest and upfront with me about the difference in rate, however, she did not tell me it was going to be 80 for a haircut not including the tip. customers expect honesty anf integrity not an explanation at the end as to why they pay more. i am giving two stars because the salon looked nice and the girls were sweet and the stylist did give me some insight on my hair. however, natalia should have been upfront from the beginning and could have made this two-star review into a four star. please make sure to ask what you are paying for and what's included before you get your haircut.

The first time I came here I made an appointment with Brea. Without talking to me, the appointment time I made was changed and I was only notified via email. I called to have the appointment time changed back to the original time I selected which was after I got off work. When I asked why it was changed she told me it was because I was her last appointment of the day and didn't want to wait around. Totally understand, but it was a weekday and I selected that time because she had listed it as available and that was when I got off work. Appointment day came and went, haircut was fine, salon was clean. I figured I would go back because it's only ten minutes from my house, relatively affordable and the haircut was fine. I made my second appointment online a week ago and sure enough my time was changed again. Exact same as before, I got an email saying my time was changed. Once again no phone call or texting asking me if I could change, just an email saying that my appointment time changed, and again to a time while I was at work when I scheduled the appointment for when I got off work. I thought the first time was maybe just a fluke but Brea did the exact same thing again and I'm done. I think that is incredibly poor customer service. I would have been happy to change the day/time if I received a phone call or text asking if I had other availability but nope, changed without any discussion and I was informed via email. Just terrible customer service. Both times, I booked my appointment with her according to her availability, and both times she has changed my times without talking to me. I choose those times (4pm and 4:30pm) for my appointment because it was when I wasn't working. Not going here again because besides Brea's poor customer service, I don't trust a salon that allows their hairstylist to do this. Save yourself the time and frustration and just go to another salon, even if that means you have to go to Austin or Georgetown.
