They canceled my appointment 15 minutes before it was supposed to begin.  A week later, the same stylist canceled our rescheduled appointment 25 minutes before. The excuse? Not wanting to drive due to 3" snowfall the prior night . Very, very unprofessional. Do not book with Jennifer if you want your time to be valued. I highly suggest going to a better salon in Boulder for the same quality.

I visited Paul Morrison to have a consult and walked out with a full balayage, color, cut.  I rarely wear makeup - and am someone who loves a natural look. That said, I asked Laura for advise on color and cut.  Laura, is not only an amazing colorist, conversationalist but her honesty and humor made my fours hours fly by. I walked out with the best hair cut and color I have had in years!  I don't live in CO but I would fly back just to have a trusted and talented stylists like Laura do my hair! Thank you!!

You are thieves, cheaters and liars. They do not have a system that contains appointments. On my wife's first date, when we went from Nebraska to Colorado for seven hours, the appointment was twelve o'clock, but they told us an hour before the appointment.  With a non-employee, we said yes, but my wife cut her finger when she was using the knife in the kitchen. We called them and told them that we had an emergency. They said if you come on time, you will pay a fine. We said why did no one tell us about it. He said we deducted the amount. Do what you want. I will file a complaint  On this cheating owner because they are really cheaters believe me we are so mad because of theses people  I don't like them ,I don't like them

I have never left a negative review of a place, but my experience here was horrible. I am not an expert on hair, so that is why I looked for a place that seemed professional and had high ratings. I was looking for a place that I could really trust with my hair. My hair was bleached blonde prior to my experience, but had no damage whatsoever. Tracy, my hair stylist, said that she didn't have enough time to do the color that I had come in for, so she asked me if I was OK with her doing a semi-permanent dye, to just try it out. I said that was fine and that I trusted her with what she thought would work.

My friend was getting a haircut at the same time, and heard that Tracy would be using semi-permanent hair dye. Tracy had also told me that it would last for at least a couple of months. I also asked her specifically if I should avoid any type of water, pools, etc. because I am again, not an expert in hair, and wanted to know how to best protect the color after getting it dyed. The only thing she had told me was to not fully submerge my head in water, but she never said to not mix my hair with other chemicals like chlorine, before or after getting it dyed.

After she washed my hair, she began to say that my hair had no protein in it, and also that the dye did not take to my hair the way she had expected. Originally, the service was supposed to cost over $100, but then she said she would only charge me $85 because my hair did not turn out how she had wanted it. I still thought it looked good right after, and I gave her a $20 tip on top of the $85.

Anyways, about two days later, my hair began to harden and stick together at the ends. The dye also started to all wash out, and my hair went completely back to the blonde color. Within a week, my hair was severely damaged. When I brushed it, clumps at the ends of my hair were coming out, which was extremely concerning. All the dye completely came out and my hair had horrible split ends and was basically falling out. Thank goodness my roots weren't touched as they were still healthy.

I called the salon and told them what had happened, the woman I spoke to was very understanding and said they wouldn't charge me to come in. She said they would fix the damage because it was important that I was happy with my hair after coming in. Anyways, later I get a call from Tracy and the first thing she says is that I am trying to get a free haircut out of her. I was pretty offended by this, and felt attacked right off the bat. She was extremely rude on the phone and kept saying my hair wasn't her responsibility. On top of that she changed the story from semi-permanent dye, to toner. My friend and I specifically remembered her saying semi-permanent dye. She continued to say that the damage was my fault and that toner doesn't damage your hair. She said she was also looking it up while we were talking on the phone, so I guess she doesn't know her products as well as I had hoped going in for a professional hair color. My friend seemed to know more about these products. She then also said that maybe it mixed with some chemicals that damaged my hair in the reservoir. The reservoir is natural water and does not had chlorine or chemicals in it. She finally said she could trim it and see what she could do and she would call me next week. Which she never did.

I then called again because I was starting to get pretty aggravated. The woman on the phone said she was an assistant manager, and she seemed really nice and helpful at first, but turned out that she was not helpful or understanding of the situation at all. I'd rather have good service than the fake nice act that seemed to be the theme of this salon. She said the most she could offer me was a 20% discount off a haircut, and again she said my hair was not their responsibility. So on top of my $85 coloring which all came out and a $20 tip, they wanted to charge me for a haircut! They didn't even offer to take a look at my hair and just see what could be done. Probably a trim and a conditioning treatment would've done the trick, and taken maybe an hour of their time. Instead they wasted all this time telling me my hair is not their responsibility and they did nothing wrong. I would have continued coming here if they were understanding and just looked at my hair. If it was going to be a huge thing to fix I would have definitely understood the charge, but it was probably not hard to fix and they wouldn't even take a look at it first. Horrible management of this problem from a business. I would not be surprised if this happens to more people. I got a feeling this place is very very cheap, but in the long-run that will cause this place to lose money as they accumulate more unhappy customers because of that. This place has definitely lost my business and recommendations for good.
